New episodes begin in July Following the popularity of previous programs, 10 That Changed America returns to public television with three new episodes in July about America’s “built environment.” This season we’ll look at the monuments that commemorate our history, the streets that connect our communities, and the engineering feats that have transformed our environment.

The StoryCorps mobile recording booth will be in Bismarck June 28– July 27. Interview your loved ones and have the conversations archived at the Library of Congress! Opportunities to reserve time in the mobile recording booth will be available beginning June 14 at 10 am at prairiepublic.org.
The concept is simple: Get eight people from a group that’s in the news and set up conversations with eight people who want to know more about that group. Ask questions in one-to-one conversations, then have a group discussion and continue the conversations over a meal. Later this summer ... Ask A Native American. Ask A… breaks us out of our echo chambers and helps us to make connections with others in our community. We’ll interview the participants for radio reports that will be broadcast on the Prairie Public radio network—so the conversations can have real, statewide impact in our communities. We’re looking for Askers and Answerers— people who would like to take some time for better understanding and who are sincerely curious and want to have civil conversations. Passport includes several hundred hours of programming, representing many genres, including drama, science, history, natural history, and the arts. At pbs.org/video and in the PBS video apps for smartphones and tablets, look for videos with this symbol. The Passport library will continue to grow as more series and episodes are added. Unfortunately, due to federal copyright restrictions, Passport streaming videos can only be viewed within the United States. When Congress enacted the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, tax rates were lowered and many widely used deductions were curtailed or eliminated.
