The Changing Face of North Dakota Institute, on the campus of Dickinson State University June 4-8, will focus on specific impacts the energy industry has on technology and our communities. The Prairie Region Teacher Training Institute at Concordia College in Moorhead on June 26 and 27 will show teachers how they can integrate history, culture, and the arts into their classrooms using video media and other web-based technology. Martha Speaks Reading Buddies teams fourth graders with kindergarteners to teach and learn with one another. Library Corners are enriched with books, print activities, and online games to help young children build literacy skills—and they’re free for public health centers and libraries in the prairie region.
