At Los Angeles’ famed Troubadour nightclub 40-some years ago, James Taylor urged Carole King to emerge as an artist from behind her piano— a seminal moment in the history of these pop singer-songwriter icons. To commemorate that important collaboration, Taylor and King reunited for this concert special. Tune in Saturday, March 12, at 7 pm, or Saturday, March 19, at 8:30 pm CT.

Regional Coverage The Prairie Public news team will report from the North Dakota Democratic Convention (March 31-April 2) and Republican nominating Convention (April 1-3), and we’ll broadcast live a planned Republican gubernatorial debate from the Belle Mehus Auditorium in Bismarck on March 9.
New Beats NPR News will continue to provide the in-depth coverage and analysis that you expect on the issues, the debates, and the campaigns. There will also be a new regular fact-checking feature called “Break It Down” headed by Scott Horsley and Danielle Kurtzleben.
