Radio Schedule Changes….. Have you heard? Bob Edwards, the celebrated and award-winning radio personality who hosted NPR’s flagship program, Morning Edition, for two decades and who hosted Bob Edwards Weekend on Sundays at 10 am CT, has stopped producing his weekend show. Thanks for years of good radio, Bob. Also leaving our radio schedule is The Law of Jazz with Bill Law, who is the assistant director of fine arts at North Dakota State University, a talented musician, and an allaround busy guy. The Law of Jazz aired on Saturdays at 8 pm CT.
….and new programs to listen for New in the Sunday radio schedule is Main Street Weekend, a compilation of the best of the previous week’s Main Street program and an opportunity for those who can’t listen during the week to catch up. Tune in Sundays at 10 am CT. On Saturdays at 8 pm CT beginning November 7, Prebys on Jazz will explore the state of jazz in the 21st century. Our host Scott Prebys, who is also our weekday classical music host, will spin contemporary stylings as well as the great big bands that have flourished during the past three decades.
