Welcome to our 3rd Annual Achievement Day.

What a year it has been! Our members have worked hard, supported one another, and shown the true spirit of 4‑H in everything they do. We couldn’t be prouder of the young people in this club. It has been incredible to watch them grow — not just in their skills, but in their confidence and their friendships. Each monthly meeting has shown us how capable, kind, and connected this group truly is, and today is a celebration of all they’ve accomplished together.

A huge thank‑you to our assistant leaders, Diane Kovar and Richie Joynt, for the time, energy, and heart they pour into this club. We also want to recognize the parents — the ones who drive, haul, help, cheer, and show up whenever needed. Your support is the backbone of our success, and we are grateful for everything you do.

One of the standout moments this year was Communications Night. It’s amazing to watch our members step up to the front of the room, push past nerves, and grow into confident public speakers. Their progress is remarkable, and we are incredibly proud of those who went on to represent our club at Zones, Areas and Provincial Communication events. Their courage and leadership shine.

We are very excited to be hosting Achievement Day at the Keystone Centre this year and hoping for a great partnership for years to come. We appreciate the generosity from this facility which directly impacts the learning, growth, and future of these young people.

As we wrap up another successful year, we want to recognize what truly makes this club special — the heart, determination, and teamwork of our members. Today isn’t just about projects completed or ribbons earned. It’s about the growth we’ve witnessed, the friendships formed, and the confidence that has increased in each of these young people.

We want to extend our sincere appreciation to our past buyers and sponsors, whose continued support helps make opportunities like this possible. And to our buyers and sponsors this year, thank you for investing in our youth and believing in the value of 4‑H.

Thank you to everyone who plays a part in making this club thrive — our leaders, our parents, our supporters, and most of all, our members. You are the reason we gather here today with so much pride.

We look forward to another year of learning, laughter, and fun. Congratulations to all of our members on a fantastic Achievement Day.

2025-2026 Presidents message

We have had fun filled year! The club has done lots of activities, we went to a Wheat Kings game, helped polish equipment for Ag Days, sold pies at the Mar Mac Bull Sale, we also sold Cowboy Caviar. Thank you to everyone that helped with fundraisers and purchased pie and beef jerky from club members.

We would like to invite everyone to our Achievement day June 10th. All of the members have been working hard getting their calves ready. We hope you will come enjoy the show, supper and support our members by bidding and purchasing an animal to fill your freezer with delicious beef. We are looking forward to being in the Keystone Center this year.

I would like to thank the leaders for all of their hard work, we wouldn’t have a club without them.

About Achievement Day:

Our members have worked hard all year, and Achievement Day is the wrap up event. They have picked their animal in the fall, feed it all winter, halter broke it and will now show it!

They will compete throughout the day for prizes, partaking in grooming competitions, showmanship classes and a group judging class.

A Champion and Reserve Champion will be selected in the Showmanship, Overall Female & Market Steer classes.

We invite you to come for supper

which will be catered by Keystone Centre at 5:30 pm.

We will conclude our day with the sale at 6:30 pm.

The steers will be sold live on site by our auctioneer.

If you are the final bidder, we will announce your name and company and thank you for buying!

Buyers will be recorded and all sales will be final.

Not available on June 10th? Don’t worry! Buyer representatives will be available to handle your bidding if you require. Please reach out to Richie Joynt: 204 724 6838

After the sale:

You will receive an invoice immediately after the sale.

The 4H member you supported will reach out to you and thank you and will discuss next steps.

If you would like your steer slaughtered at Cut Rite Meats, Carberry or alternatively, if your preference is to make a donation, you can resell your steer though Killarney Auction Mart the following day. All Transportation will be looked after by the club.
