ANIMAL NUTRITION
I have worked with RSK Farms for many year's providing nutritional consulting with their cow herd, replacement female program and their Bull Development Program. Bull Development is a high priority at RSK, ensuring the bulls are developed to the best of their ability without over doing it. Growth and performance, body condition, hair, structural soundness, and reproductive development, are some of the hi-lites we aim for when designing a bull program. We want to stay away from over condition bulls that break down, are not fertile, and just don’t get the job done. These bulls only cost you a lot of money! At RSK over the year's we have seen changes in their development process. From self feeders and hay feeders to incorporating higher quality forages and less grain. Chopped and piled silage, top quality hay, oats and a custom bull development product is the direction RSK uses to develop their bulls. We sample and test on farm ingredients using the nutritional values of the ingredients and then design the program with a custom Bull Development Product to meet the protein and energy requirements of the program. This program is designed and balanced using the Cargill Beef Max Ration Balancing Program. This product fills the nutritional gaps the ingredients have and we enhance the program balancing proteins, amino acids, energy, fiber levels, micro and macro minerals and vitamins. RSK also sees the value using Diamond V NaturSafe in this product to enhance gut health, immunity and a better absorption of nutrients. We know this helps with reproductive development for the bulls as well. The goal for the Bull Development Program to raise bulls in a safe and nutritionally sound environment that will provide optimum value from their customers and prospects in their sale.

Welcome
On behalf of the entire Bohrson Marketing Services team, we are pleased to welcome you to the 12th Annual RSK Farms/Rideau Angus Farms Elite Genetics Bull Sale. This annual event has grown into a highly anticipated stop on the spring sale calendar and is a testament to the dedication, vision and integrity behind both programs. The Kopeechuk/Milne-Smith families have built their operations with a clear focus on producing practical, profit-driven cattle that work in real-world conditions. Their programs blend the strength of both Hereford and Angus genetics, offering cattle that deliver calving ease, performance, structural integrity and maternal excellence; traits that continue to drive customer success and repeat support year after year.
This year’s offering is deep in quality and consistency, featuring a diverse group of breeding tools backed by proven cow families and an impressive lineup of herd sires. The Hereford division is highlighted by strong representation from sires such as Balance 207H and Command 91H, while the Angus offering showcases exciting sons by Executive 4J, Money Earned, Good Times and Best Answer. Together, these genetics provide buyers with options to add calving ease, performance, maternal strength and overall herd improvement. Equally important to the genetics is the development philosophy behind these bulls. They are raised in a responsible, longevity-focused program that emphasizes structural soundness, fertility, hair quality and functional performance, ensuring they are prepared to go out and work for their new owners immediately while maintaining durability for years to come.
Perhaps the greatest strength of this sale lies in the people behind it. Andrew, Jessy and their families are passionate cattle producers who stand firmly behind their product and take great pride in building long-term relationships with their customers. Their commitment to service, transparency and continuous improvement is evident in every aspect of this program and is a key reason this sale continues to grow in reputation and demand. Whether you are a long-time supporter or attending for the first time, we invite you to study the catalogue, tour the bulls and evaluate the offering with confidence. We are certain this powerful and balanced set of genetics will provide valuable opportunities to enhance your breeding program.
Best Regards, The Bohrson Marketing Team

Welcome to the 12th annual RSK RAF Elite Genetics Bull Sale! Jess and I are very excited and humbled to be hosting our annual bull sale.
As I’m writing this, I am reflecting a lot about the past year. It has been very rewarding in every way possible. Firstly, cattle prices are at an all-time high; in the feeder market, replacement market and genetic market. It feels great living through this trend and I believe that it will just keep growing stronger. Secondly, being in the cattle business, especially on the purebred side has given us so many experiences and has forged so many relationships all over the globe. Jess and I visited Denmark this summer to judge the National All Breeds Junior Show and National Highland Show. We had some R and R time in Copenhagen, what a place to visit. Thirdly, we have had some great times watching, judging and sponsoring so many amazing junior shows this past year. This honestly might be the most rewarding.
Watching this bull pen mature and grow has been one of the biggest rewards and having next year’s crop hitting the ground is the icing on the cake. We are also seeing record prices for cattle as national numbers continue to be low, and the demand will stay strong. Being commercial producers as well, we see the value in using Hereford and Angus bulls to fill market demand.
This year’s sale offering is a testament to the direction and the path that each breed has worked towards over the last ten plus years. It feels great to see our genetics go out and work and provide a positive ROI for our customers. This year the bull pen is great, they are rugged, strong and bred to succeed.
The depth and quality of this year’s offering is second to none and this year’s sale offers a diverse group of breeding tools. Balance 207H and Command 91H calves make up the main part of the RSK pen this year. Nellie 20E makes a comeback this year with a very exciting Daybreak 163K bull, Panama 51M. Executive 4J is breeding tremendously well, proving to be easy calving with great growth and flawless structure. Our first Money Earned 853E and Good Time 405L sons will be highlighted and they are impressive. Best Answer 118L has sired some amazing calving ease sons, and a group of ET brothers add an element of excitement and genetic opportunity!
We are continuously building, raising and acquiring new genetics to build the quality of the RSK and RAF programs. Our emphasis is on breeding well rounded, balanced offspring based on quality genetics that promote improved structure, muscle pattern and efficiency.
Many of our customers are repeat and multiple buyers. This tells us that it’s not just a bull business, but also a people business. Our customers are pleased with the product, but more importantly happy with an honest, reputable and knowledgeable service. We love catching up with our customers as it provides us with feedback about our product as wells as assisting in improvements for breeding decisions. The customer is our main source of information and the continued support from our customers is what is keeping us in a business that we love.
All the sale information will be online including bidding with DLMS.ca. Feel free to contact any RSK-RAF member for more assistance.
We look forward to having you join us for the 12th Annual Bull Sale and can’t wait to visit with you on sale day!

Long, powerful, big hipped and extremely good footed is what comes to mind when I start to describe our lead off angus lot this year. A performance type bull that will work great on cows, push down the scale on your calves in the fall and make you want to keep every one of his daughters. His maternal sister is making a name for her self at a young age where she consistently produces some of the highest selling bulls in the sale every year. We campaigned him this fall where he was Res. Champion Sr. Bull Calf Champion at Ag EX in Brandon and has an extremely good disposition about him. The Nancy cow family is known for their great foot structure, heavy milking ability and longevity.

A new sire group for this years sale. Rideau SCK Best Answer 118L sold in the 2024 bull sale, we thought enough of this young calf that we retained an interest in him and bred him to a select group of heifers. Both of these bulls are super calving ease, off of first calf heifers and give you “ the look” we strive for. 21N who is off of an Atlantis dam, is one of the heaviest bulls in the pen when we weighed, he has tremendous hip shape, length of body and middle. 23N is a more moderate package with his dam being our first Executive 4J female in production. If you follow our program, you will know the 64F donor is our cornerstone female here, both of these bulls have her in their immediate pedigrees, if you are looking to add some maternal and keep all of your replacement heifers take a look at these two on sale day!!

This pair of flush mates are our first two bulls born here off of the $100,000 Brooking Beauty 1266. Their sire Brooking Next Gen is notorious for siring many high sellers and show champions. These two are both so solid from the ground up with great bone and hind legs, thick hair coats, super wide topped and hipped and such free and easy movers. Take note that 92n is only a March calf! Stacked pedigrees on these two to elevate your program to the next level.

Our first and only Merit Investment son. We bred investment to a number of cows and this was the only bull calf we had. Another calving ease bull that is maternally driven. Our only Rise Above calf in the sale and he sure gets me excited! Calving ease on both sides of his pedigree, coming off our Erronline cow family which is one of the oldest, tracing back to some of the original cows to start the Rideau Angus Herd over 70 years ago. 1n is super long spined and good footed, definitely the kind that will push down the scales for your steers and make you want to keep all his females in your herd. His maternal brother was a high sellers in last years sale to Harvie Ranching.

Both of these bulls are out of industry leading females with 33n being off of our 64F donor and 86N being off of Erica 74A.
