The fun andfestivities begin a/10:00 a.m. and continue unti/5:00 p.m. This is your day to spend visiting the residents, louring the grounds, and taking in all of the numerous activities offered . .. bands, display booths, face painters for the children, and tours of service areas. Plus, all the food you can eat!

Five Masons met Friend to Friend o n e eve ning late in March in the home of Bro. Robert L. Co rle, Worsh i pful Master of Bedford Lodge N o. 320, to talk on the Leve l a b out Freemason ry and the Friend to Friend Program. With him were two Brethren fro m his Lodge: Bro. Tom L. Livingston, a long -time Member of the Craft, and Bro. Steve n D. Mi ller, who was Raised ju st m onths ago. Th e o th e r two we re Bro. George H. Hohensh ildt, R.W. Grand Mast er, and Bro. Ken n eth R. House. Distri ct Dep uty Grand Master of the 34th Mason ic District. It was an evening of on-the-Level d i scuss ion among Brethren that st a rted in the living room then ca rri ed ove r to th e dinner table. The Breth ren began ta lki ng about who Masons are, what Masons do and what they beli eve. T hen they co nside red public awa re ness and educatio n . Early in the dialogue, when Bro. Miller exp lain ed why he had wanted to join the Fraternity, the ot her Brethre n recognized the im pact that the Friend to Friend message is bound to have upon

" T he G r and Master observed , " Steve, you wouldn't be a Masonyou wouldn't have j oined , if you hadn't had, as you te rmed it , a favorab le opinion. T hat op i n i on had to be d erived from people you know or heard abou t (who are Masons) . .. and obviously t h at attract ed you to th is Fraternity. "

He is as enthusiastic i n talki ng about Masonry as he is in his successfu l sa les work. He said: " I' m very grateful that Maso nry . . . is saying that we' re a proud organization , we' re doing a lot of wonderfu l things and there are lots of good people who ought to be a part of it !"
