Northern Masonic Grand Masters Hear About Pennsylvania Leadership Program R.W. Grand Master Edward H. Fow l er, Jr., was receive d enthusiastically and encouraged una nimous ly wh en h e described P ennsylvania's Masonic Leadership Program to the Grand Masters of the fifteen states of the Northern Masonic Juris diction of the Scottish Rite during a Renewal progress m eetin g h eld in conjun ction with the Supreme Council, sessions in Chicago, September 25 to 30. Bro. Fowler emphas ized the importance and benefits of sound, dynamic leadership and explained ho w Pennsy lva nia's Hiram I Program has generated a high level of enthusiasm among the Masons who have exp erience d t he cutomized training at the Masonic Conference Center in Elizabethtown. U sing overhead transparencies , he described both the methods and the benefi ts of the Lodge Officer and Facilitator Training and emphasized the cascading effect of the educational

and operational impact they a r e having on Masonic Lodge leadership. H e took with him several sets of the t r a ining modules for t h e Grand Masters to re view , which they did with a high l evel of inte r est. Grand Master Fowler said that the Pennsyl vania program i s developing into an educational institution at Elizabethtown. Indeed , he concluded with a vision -- really as a recommendation-- that some day there be three Masonic Leadership Training Centers strategically acros s the nation. He added enthu siastically that "... the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania hopes that the Leadership program i t has dev el oped wo uld benefit Freemas onry and would react favorably if other Jurisdictions and other organizations in t h e Family of Freemasonry would seek to buy into the program."

Grand Master's Dinner Dance To Be Held In Philadelphia The Grand Master's Dinner Dance will be held in the Ballroom of the Wyndam Franklin P l aza Hotel, Two Franklin Pla za , Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, December 2, 1992, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. Pennsylvania Masons, their Ladies and friend s , w i ll be entertained by bandleader Lester Lanin, who seems to be the magic ingredient at parties of the rich and famous. The Philadelphia born septuagenari an ha s entertained European royalty; in fact, he entertained at the wedding rece ption s of the Prince and Princes s of Wales and the Duke and Duchess ofYork. Those interested in being swept off their feet and onto the dance floor to th e delightful music of L es ter Lanin may purchase tickets at $25 .00 each .
