ELECTED GRAND LODGE OFFICERS - Bro. Samuel C. Williamson, R.W. Grand Master, is surrounded by the other Grand officers elected and installed to serve with him during 1983. The special youth program also presented the opportunity for Grand Master Samuel C. Williamson to highlight the presentation of a 50-year DeMolay membership pin to Past Grand Master John L. McCain . Bro. McCain, who serves as Executive Officer for DeMolay in Pennsylvania as well as a Scottish Rite Active, was the fi rst active DeMolay to become Grand Master of Masons in Pennsylvania. It is interesting to note the only other man to become Grand Master

after having been a DeMolay is the current Grand Master, Bro. Samuel C. Williamson. Another pleasant surprise during the youth program was the presentation to the Grand Master of contributions to the Pennsylvania Youth Foundation from the Northwestern and Erie chapters of DeMolay. Bro. Thomas R. Labagh, Executive Director of the found ation and Executive Secretary for DeMolay in Pennsylvania, was present al ong with Dennis C. Rickard, District 12 Deputy; Dennis W. Weed, District 13 Deputy; Jon L. DePoe, District 16 Deputy, and John R. Ralston, District 42 Deputy for DeMolay.

The fo llowing were reelected members of the Grand Lodge Comm ittee onMaso nic Homes during the December Quarterly Communicatio n held at Philadelph ia on Wednesday, December 1, 1982: Bro. Theodore K. Warner, Jr., Progress Lodge No. 609, Philadelphia. Bro. Walter B. Wilson, Eureka Lodge No. 302, Mechanicsburg. Bro. P. Thomas Feeser, Page Lodge No. 270, Schuylkill Haven. Bro. Kenneth E. Thompson, Wilmington Lodge No. 804, New Wilmington. Bro. Guy E. Walker, Somerset Lodge No. 358, Somerset. Bro. John J. Taylor, Lake Erie Lodge No. 347, Girard . The other members of the Committee on Masonic Homes, the Grand Master, Deputy Grand Maste r, Senior Grand Warden, Junior Grand Warden, Grand Treasurer and Grand Secretary, serve by virtue of their offices as dictated by mason ic law as evidenced in the Ahiman

Rezon. Bro. Warner was elected to a second consecutive term as chairman during the meeting of the committee held at the Masonic Hom es at Elizabethtown on Decembe r 3, 1982. The Comm ittee on Masonic Homes is the only elected committee under the constitution of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. All other committee members serve, by appointment, at the pleasu re of the Grand Master.

April 22,1983 - Grand Lodge Committee on Masonic Homes meeting, Masonic Homes, Elizabethtown. April 23, 1983 - Grand Master will visit the Valley of Wil liamsport. April 24-26, 1983 - Grand Master will attend the 1983 Gran d Assembly, Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Pennsylvania, in Clearfield. April 30, 1983 - Grand Maste r, accompanied by Grand Lodge offi cers, will attend an info rmal visitation to a specia l meeting of Ossea Lodge No. 317 fo r the purpose of obse rving its 125th anniversary, Wellsboro.
