Closed Circuit TV Being Used at Homes To Entertain Guests . m Grand Lodge H all. A m aster antenna located on a hill north of the grounds brings in outside progra ms over seven ad dit ional channels. Ind iv idua l t e levision receivers equipped with remote cont rols and pi!~ low speakers, have been installed in all hospita l rooms in Areas 1, 2 and 3, North, so that those patients u nable to leave their beds, m ay now enjoy this entertainment. Included in the installation is a complete u nder gr ound cable net work. For closed circuit programs, one portable and three permanen tly m ounted cameras are available. A control center with monitor has been inst alled in one of t he basement rooms in G rand L odge H all.

Grand Master's Days Scheduled at Homes Seven Officers from Each of 610 Symbolic Lodges Have Been Invited to Participate More than 4,000 Masonic leaders from 610 Symbolic Lodges in the Jurisdiction w ill visit the Masonic Homes at Elizabethtown at one of four " Grand Master's D ays" this summer. The dates are : Saturday, July 18; Saturd ay, Tuly 25; Saturday, August 1; and Satu rday, August 29. Bro. Hiram P . Ball, R.W. G rand Master , has extended the invitati on to the follow ing Lodge Officers: Worshipful Master, Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Treasurer, Secretary, Rep resentati ve in the Grand Lodge and Chair ma n of the Lodge Committee on Masonic Culture . The Distri ct Deputy Grand Masters and D istrict Chairmen for the G rand Lodge Committee on Masonic Culture are also expected to attend. In an effort to assure that adequate plans are made to hand le the large gathering, the G rand Master has made the following assignments fo r the four days : SATURDAY, JULY 18th Lodges in Districts A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J and the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 1Oth, 11th, 36th and 40th Masonic Districts. SATURDAY, J ULY 25th Lodges in the 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st, 32nd, 37th, 38th, 39th, 43rd , 47th, 48th, 49th, 51 st, 54th, 55th and 57th Masonic Districts. SATURDAY, AUGUST 1st Lodges in the 17th, 18th, 19th, 2 0th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 33rd, 34th, 35th, 41st, 44th, 46th, 52nd, 53rd and 56th Masonic Districts. SATURDAY, AUGUST 29th Lodges in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 4 2nd, 45th, 50th, 58th, 59th and 60th Masonic Districts.

The program will include: 10:00 a.m.

Meeting with the Grand Master and Grand Lodge Officers.

12:00 Noon

Lunch for all those attending.

1:00 p.m.

Guided tours of t he Masonic Homes and Patton Masonic School.

4:00 p.m.

Conclusion of activities.

Bro. William A. Carpen ter, Secretary to the G rand Lodge Commi ttee on Masonic Culture. has been appointed Coordinating Chairman by the G rand Master. Lodges have been urged to work wi th other Distri ct Lodges to charter buses for the trip to Elizabethtow n. D is trict D eputy Grand Masters have been directed by the Grand Mas ter to ass ist Lodges to formulate transpo rtatio n plans. Bro. Ball has au thorized the use o f Subordinate Lodge funds to defra y the expenses of the Lod ge Officers : He added: " This is the most im portant fu nction that we have sched uled in F~eemasonry in Pennsylvania this year. " This w ill give our Lodge Officers an o ppo rtuni ty to visit the Mason ic H omes - for most, the firs t time in their Masonic careers." Because of the deta ils necessary to plan for the fou r events, Bro. Ball has urged Masonic Distri cts no t to reques t changes of da tes.

If the assigned da te prese n ts a se ri ous confli ct with o ther act ivities in the Distri ct, Bro. Ball has reques ted the Distr ict Deputy to ask for a change of dates . The G rand Mas ter explained: "We do not want to create a hard ship. O ur goal is to ha ve every Lodge Office r in Pennsylvania visit the Masoni c Ho mes.

" J am sure this w ill be worth every effo rt put into th e visitations."
