Grand Master Pleased With 'State of Craft'Highlights Teamwork Dear Brethren: With this final comment as your Grand Master, I express a feeling of personal pride and encouragement in the "State of the Craft" in our Jurisdiction. Every Grand M aster looks forward to his term in office with hopes a nd desires of ad vancing the cause of Freemasonry. As I look back over the past two year s, I am p leased with the accomplishments a nd activities made possible by the cooperation and dedication of so many M asons. A more deta iled listing of the activ ities of my term as Grand Master will be covered in the Abstract of the Proceedings. Highlighting the many accomplishm e nts of the past two years was the display of teamwork evidenced in the fulfillment of most, if not all, of my objectives, both large and small. I have been inspired with the determin ation of so many "to get the job done." . Without this t eamwork, your Grand Master could not have carried out his program. With great pride a n d satisfaction, I can now refer to the wisdom a nd efforts of many dedicated M asons in bringing about a more efficient administration of the Masonic Homes; the Thomas R anken P atton Masonic Institution for Boys; and to the extensive renovations of the M asonic Temple, Philad elphia, the headqua rters of our Grand Lodge.

The Pittsburgh Hilton Hotel site of the Grand Master's Banquet on St. John the Evangelist's Day, December 27, is Iocat~d in the center at the apex of the triangle. The new 68-lloor United States Steel Building, still under construction, is near the top of this unusual complex of construction.
