OUR WEDDINGS Prior Park offers an exceptional and truly distinctive setting for your wedding. With elegant architecture, outstanding grounds, and unrivalled views across the World Heritage City of Bath, it provides a stunning backdrop for unforgettable photography. We offer a range of packages, including hire of the Mansion House, ensuring only one wedding takes place per day. Our versatile spaces include the Mansion House Reception, Covered Portico, Historic Terrace, Academy Hall, Palladian Restaurant, and Garden Room. A dedicated Bride & Groom Day Suite is also available. We are licensed to host ceremonies for all religions and beliefs in a variety of locations, including the John Wood Chapel, Mansion Reception, Bishops Library, Academy Hall, and our unique outdoor Covered Portico overlooking the landscaped gardens and iconic Palladian Bridge. To complete the legal formalities, couples will need to give notice to the BANES Registrar Team and arrange for a Registrar to attend on the day.

We just wanted to say thank you for all the help and support over the months for our wedding day. We had the most amazing time and everyone loved the venue and how you’d set it up. OU R SPACES Every wedding at Prior Park Bath is tailored to the wishes and expectation of each couple. We provide a flexible and accommodating approach to the most special of occasions.
THE PORTICO
We are delighted to offer ceremonies on our beautiful covered Portico, with steps sweeping down to Prior Park grounds, overlooking the Palladian Bridge and stunning views across Bath.
THE MANSION
The impressive entrance hall is the perfect place to enjoy a drinks reception or ceremony. Entered by an arched doorway, the spacious hall leads through to a substantial portico supported by Corinthian columns. From the portico, there is a wonderful view of the Palladian Bridge set in the valley towards Bath. There is an elaborate outer stairway leading up to the original Mansion front door. The entrance hall can tranform into an impressive dance floor by night.
ACADEMY HALL
The Academy Hall spans the length of the building corresponding with the Mansion entrance hall below and can seat up to 120 people. The room is decorated with fine handworked decorative plasterwork panels and pilasters. The two central doorways are flanked by Corinthian columns and topped by an ornate frieze. Three chandeliers hang from the coved ceiling, whilst the room itself offers fantastic views over Bath.

JOHN WOOD CHAPEL
Situated to the east side of the Mansion Hall, this room was historically used for musical performances and as a meeting venue. The interior was beautifully designed by John Wood the Elder. A striking full-height feature wall to the right is decorated predominantly with two tiers of columns: Corinthian columns above and iconic columns below, arranged around a false pedimented doorway (the apse).Above the apse, is a large ornately decorated dome. There is a raised viewing gallery to the left as you enter the room and a central chandelier hangs from the vaulted ceiling.
L ADY OF OUR SNOWS CHAPEL
Prior park Bath are pleased to own our beautiful Lady of our Snows Chapel. The stunning space features classical columns, an ornate dome, and a soaring ceiling. For celebrants and other services please enquire directly.

Sarah and I both had the best time, and from the conversations we’ve had our guests loved the venue and had a brilliant day as well. Everything went as we had hoped and we could not be more appreciative of the input that you both and your team put in. Also a special thank you James for transporting us back to the centre of Bath when our coach did not turn up (apparently human error, the driver thought their shift was done). We are seeking a refund, but would advise others in our situation looking for transport around Bath to avoid Eurocoaches at all costs! From the very first meeting, James made us feel welcomed and listened to, and he brought such fantastic energy to all our meetings. We had some ideas on how to make our wedding unique to us, and James and Niamh made sure no suggestion was to be dismissed! They were able to adapt and accommodate all our ideas from hosting a traditional Danish cake table, to a ceilidh dance space for all of our guests, to squeezing in a photobooth! It was evident to us that James and his team love hosting weddings, and they truly put your experience and enjoyment first. It was such a joy to work with the Prior Park team. DEPOSIT • £1,000 payable within 5 working days of viewing to secure the date and a further £1,000 to be paid 6 months prior to your wedding date • 90% of Balance due 2 months before wedding
MINIMUM TERMS • All prices are subject to VAT • Access is provided from 11am to 1am on your Wedding Day, if you wish to use the venue before this time for preparations (from 9am) we charge £100 per hour • Venue licence ends at midnight. • Venue set up the day before, if available, is complimentary for 4 hours • Our Wedding Breakfast set-up uses round tables, we ask for a £250 supplement for any variation of this. • Wedding Breakfast consists of a choice of two starters, two main courses and one dessert • Allergies and dietary requirements are catered for accordingly • Minimum bar spend of £1,000. For each £1 less than minimum spend, chargeable fee is £1.00 • If you are using a Wedding Planner we charge £500 for the additional liasing time that is required to allow the day to run smoothly. • Food & drink choices and Table Plan are required 2 months before Wedding Day • Access to National Trust grounds viewed from the Portico, by special arrangement • All bookings are subject to a minimum of 60 guests Please note that we do not allow: 1.
