Annual Report 2024 to 2025 Snapshot
This Snapshot is designed to share the highlights of our challenges and performance between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2025, detailed in our Annual Report.
Over the past 12 months, multiple natural disasters and severe weather events have posed significant challenges and disruptions. We thank the community for your patience as we work through these. Roads remain our top priority. Our Roads Acceleration Program (RAP) commits $20 million from existing funds, grants, and the Special Rate Variation to repair and upgrade local roads. We’re also allocating an extra $9 million over three years from our disaster reserve and road reserve sales. We continue to seek State and Federal support for further funding. Diverse, affordable housing is another priority. Our Local Housing Strategy and Housing Supply Plan aims to expand housing, attract investment, and simplify approvals. We’re delivering new improved processes, advocating to the State and Federal governments, investigating rezoning opportunities, while also exploring new projects on Council-owned land with Homes NSW and other agencies.
