Important Notice regarding Questions for the Annual General Meeting Members who have any questions regarding the reports or any other matter they wish raised at the Annual General Meeting should submit the question to the Chief Executive Officer in writing at least seven days before the date of the Annual General Meeting. This is to allow the Club time to prepare any information which may be required to respond to the question. If you do not do this, it may not be possible to answer your question at the meeting. Important Notice in relation to Annual Reports Members who previously requested to receive annual reports will receive them in the manner that they have elected to receive them. Members who have not elected to receive annual reports can access the annual report on the Club’s website https://www.portcity.com.au/ or by requesting a copy of the report from the Club’s reception.

THE RESOLUTIONS AND NOTES ON EACH RESOLUTION ARE CONTAINED IN THE FOLLOWING PAGES OF THIS NOTICE. PROCEDURAL MATTERS FOR RESOLUTIONS AND VOTING 1. Under the Registered Clubs Act: (a) proxy voting is prohibited; and (b) employees cannot vote. 2. The following members can vote on the Resolutions: (a) Life members. (b) Financial Bowling members who have been members of the Club for a continuous period of at least twelve (12) months. (c) Financial Social members who have been members of the Club for a continuous period of at least twelve (12) months. 3. T o be passed, an Ordinary Resolution will be passed if at least a majority (ie. 50% plus 1) of the votes cast on the resolution by members eligible to vote on the resolution are cast in favour of the resolution. 4. T o be passed, a Special Resolution must receive votes in favour from three quarters (75%) of those members who, being eligible to do so, vote in person on the Special Resolution at the meeting. 5. A mendments to a Resolution (other than minor typographical corrections which do not change the substance or effect of the Resolution) will not be permitted from the floor of the meeting. 6. The Board recommends each of the three (3) Ordinary and three (3) Special Resolutions to members.

ORDINARY RESOLUTIONS FIRST ORDINARY RESOLUTION That pursuant to the Registered Clubs Act 1976 the members of Port Macquarie City Bowling Club Limited (the Club) hereby: a) Authorise for the period preceding the next Annual General Meeting payment of the following honorariums as recommended by the Board in recognition of services rendered to the Club:

i) Chairman $9,300 plus Superannuation as applicable by law. ii) Vice Chairman $7,700 plus Superannuation as applicable by law. iii) The remaining Directors (5) $5,450 each, plus Superannuation as applicable by law. iv) all honorariums are to be paid pro rata to the service rendered and contingent on service being rendered. v) all honorariums, at the discretion of the Board, may be paid in instalments (i.e., monthly, or quarterly) in arrears. b) acknowledge that the benefits in paragraph (a) above are not available to members generally, only to those that are appointed as Directors of the Club.

Notes to members on the First Ordinary Resolution 1. An honorarium to a Director may only be paid if it has been approved by a resolution passed at a General Meeting of the Club. 2. The adoption of this resolution by the members will confirm the amount paid as honorariums at the expense of the Club in recognition of services rendered to the Club for the period preceding the next Annual General Meeting and meet the requirements of the Corporations Act 2001 and the Registered Clubs Act 1976. 3. It is at the discretion of each Director as to whether they accept the honorarium. 4. Honorariums have been indexed by 4% (rounded up or down to nearest $50) in line with inflation figures to the 12 months ended 31 May 2026. 5. The adoption of this resolution by the Members meets the requirements of the Clubs Constitution, the Corporations Act 2001 and the Registered Clubs Act 1976. 6. Board Appointed Directors are subject to specific provisions in relation to benefits and conditions under the Act.

SECOND ORDINARY RESOLUTION That pursuant to the Registered Clubs Act 1976 the members of Port Macquarie City Bowling Club (the Club) hereby: a) a pprove the payment or reimbursement of expenditure, at the expense of the Club, during the period preceding the next Annual General Meeting for the provision of the following: i) The reasonable cost of light snacks during board meetings. ii) The reasonable expenses incurred in relation to such other duties including entertainment of special guests to the Club and other promotional activities performed by Directors provided that such activities and the expenses are approved by the Board before payment or reimbursement is made on the production of proper documentation of expenditure. iii) Reasonable expenses for the holding of an annual end of term office dinner, held at the board’s discretion for the Board of Directors, their special guests, and dignitaries. iv) The reasonable cost of attending the General Meetings and training seminars of ClubsNSW, Club Directors Institute and any other recognised association within the Registered Clubs Industry as may be determined by the board from time to time. v) The reasonable cost of Director’s attending seminars, lectures, trade displays, structured study tours, fact finding tours and other similar activities as may be determined by the Board from time to time. vi) Directors and Officers insurance policies. vi) The reasonable cost of apparel (for example monogramed shirt or blouse) as required for the use of Directors when representing the Club. vii) The reasonable cost of an electronic device (e.g., laptop computer or tablet or similar device) being made available in respect of their duties as Directors of the Club. viii) The reasonable cost of directors’ membership of professional associations such as Club Directors Institute. b) acknowledge that the benefits in paragraph (a) above are not available to Members generally, but only those Members who are Directors of the Club.

Notes to Members on the Second Ordinary Resolution 1. Under the Registered Clubs Act 1976, Directors out-of-pocket expenses reasonably incurred while carrying out their duties can already under the law be authorised by the Board. However, the resolution in the interests of transparency makes disclosures of some of the type of expenses likely to be incurred. 2. To the extent that this resolution involves the payment of out-of-pocket expenses, this resolution will acknowledge that expenses of these types proposed are prima facie acceptable and there is or will be a current resolution of the Board authorising the payment of expenses of that kind before they are paid. 3. The amount of Director expenses shown in the Clubs accounting records for 2026 is $6,711 (2025 $6,529) this includes additional training, industry conferences. 4. The adoption of this resolution by the Members meets the requirements of the Clubs Constitution, the Corporations Act 2001 and the Registered Clubs Act 1976.

THIRD ORDINARY RESOLUTION That pursuant to the Registered Clubs Act 1976 the Members of the Port Macquarie City Bowling Club Limited (the Club) hereby: a) approve, during the period preceding the next Annual General Meeting, at the expense of the Club, the payment of or reimbursement of expenditure reasonably and properly incurred in carrying out the organising, supervising, and playing of the game of lawn bowls activities at the discretion of the Board for the provision of: (i) Reasonable contribution towards the costs of running pennants. ii) Reasonable contribution towards the costs of travel, accommodation, and allowances, if required, for successful pennant teams involved in State Pennant Finals. iii) Reasonable contribution towards the cost of travel, accommodation and allowances for bowlers who qualify or are selected to represent the Club in State and National Finals events. iv) Reasonable contribution towards the costs and benefits associated with Social Bowls activities. v) Reasonable facilities and services in relation to bowling activities including the provision of services of greenskeepers. vi) Provision of a Bowls Co-ordinator and other Club management staff in relation to bowling activities. vii) Reasonable cash or Member reward points for bowling Members who are championship finalists.

viii) Reasonable contribution towards the costs of uniforms and annual membership fees of BowlsNSW and Regional entry fees. ix) Reasonable contribution towards the cost of food and beverages for bowling Members and guests at social events such as prestige events and particularly Member only events. x) Reasonable contribution towards the procurement fees for special bowls events such as State Pennant Finals. xi) Sundry benefits for Bowling Members who may be recognised for their services rendered in assisting in the running of bowls activities or guiding operations by way of Member reward points, to be awarded at the discretion of the Club, for such bowls activities including working bees, maintenance, umpiring, marking, manager and related bowls support duties or other as deemed appropriate by the Club. b) acknowledge that the benefits in paragraph (a) are not available to Members generally, however all Members are entitled to utilise the Clubs facilities and services equally when available. c) approve, during the period preceding the next Annual General Meeting, the Club passing on to individual members benefits provided to the Club from trade suppliers and service providers, such as function invitations, dinners, events, and sporting matches. d) acknowledge that the benefits (c) are not available to all Members generally and the Board may determine which benefits of this nature will be offered to members equally or otherwise disposed of in the best interests of the Club in its corporate capacity. e) acknowledge that from time-to-time Directors who are bowling members will derive a benefit from the above. Any benefits are no greater than those received by other bowling Members.

Notes to Members on the Third Ordinary Resolution 1. The amount of costs incurred as shown in the Club’s accounting records for State Pennant finals for the 12 months to 30 June 2026 was $4,529 (2025 was $26,300). 2. The trading statement for Bowls as shown in the accounting records for the 12 months to June 2026 reveals a deficit of $226,212 ($337,005 in 2025). It is emphasised that this figure includes direct costs only and costs for occupancy, light and power, administration, workers compensation and general insurances, depreciation, and other overheads (‘indirect costs’) are excluded. 3. Commencing in 2024 the ATO requires “Not for Profit” entities including Registered Clubs who self-assess as tax exempt to lodge a Self-Review Return requiring comprehensive financial and other information to support the Clubs determination that it meets the tax exemption provisions under section 50-45 of the Income Tax Assessment Act. The Club needs to satisfy three tests, namely, it cannot be carried on for the purpose of profit or gain to individual members, it must exist for the encouragement of a game or sport and the encouragement must be the Club’s main purpose in accord with the requirements contained within Tax Ruling 2022/2. The assessment of the main purpose test requires the subjective determination and apportionment of the indirect costs of bowls. After an apportionment of indirect costs (the type mentioned above) are allocated the real deficit is calculated as $697,220 for the 12 months to 30 June 2026. Accordingly, the Board has determined that the Club satisfies all of the criteria and conditions to uphold the tax exemption. 4. The adoption of this Ordinary Resolution authorises for the provision of certain benefits, to be provided subject to the discretion of the Board. 5. The adoption of this resolution by the Members meets the requirements of the Clubs Constitution, the Corporations Act 2001, and the Registered Clubs Act 1976.

SPECIAL RESOLUTIONS FIRST SPECIAL RESOLUTION – QUORUM That the Constitution of Port Macquarie City Bowling Club Limited be amended by: (a) deleting Article 35.48 and in its place inserting the following new Article 35.48: “At any general meeting of the Club (including an Annual General Meeting) convened by the Board, twenty (20) members present in person and eligible to vote shall be the quorum.”

Notes to Members on First Special Resolution 1. The Club’s Articles of Association currently provide that the quorum for general meetings is forty (40) members. 2. However, having regard to the challenges of obtaining this number in previous years, the Board proposes the first special resolution to reduce said number by half. 3. It is noted that several NSW Clubs with larger membership bases than us have much lower quorums. 4. Accordingly, the Board is recommending the First Special Resolution to ensure that general meetings are not rescheduled in future due to insufficient attendance.

SECOND SPECIAL RESOLUTION – COMPOSITION OF BOARD That the Constitution of Port Macquarie City Bowling Club Limited be amended by: (a) deleting Article 27.4 (c) and in its place inserting the following new Article 27.4 (c): “Social members.” (b) deleting Article 27.5 entirely, with no replacement.

Notes to Members on Second Special Resolution 1. T he Second Special Resolution proposes to amend the eligibility requirements for the positions of Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson and Ordinary Directors. 2. P resently, the Articles provide that the Board consists of seven (7) Directors, being a Chairperson, a Deputy Chairperson and five (5) Ordinary Directors. Of the five (5) Ordinary Directors, a maximum of two (2) can be Social members. 3. S ocial Members cannot be elected to positions of Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson which is incongruent with modern governance standards. Business complexity has increased inordinately, and the best available person should be able to hold an Executive position regardless of membership status. The same is true for general board positions, where the best available person should be entitled to hold office regardless of membership status. 4. I f this Second Special Resolution is passed, Social Members will be eligible to be elected to the positions of Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson.

THIRD SPECIAL RESOLUTION – LIFE MEMBERSHIP That the members hereby approve Christopher (Chris) King member no. 9357 to be admitted as a Life member of Port Macquarie City Bowling Club Limited.

Notes to Members on Third Special Resolution 1. T he Constitution provides that life membership may be granted to a Member in consideration of outstanding service to the Club. 2. Chris has provided outstanding service to the Club over a sustained period. 3. C hris has served on the Board for over 11 years and Chair for 10 years. During his tenure, the Club has undertaken significant change and growth, not only the Clubhouse itself but in terms of corporate governance, management performance and strategic oversight. Chris is deserving of life membership. 4. A proposal from Michael Hayes member no. 5897 and John Okrasa member no. 8061 nominating Chris was received on 24 December 2025. 5. The nomination was approved by the Board of Directors on 27 January 2026. 6. A Life member is relieved from the payment of any annual subscription.

Bowls

Welcome to my 2025/26 Annual Report. I hope this report finds you safe and well.

This year saw the continuation of the singletier operating model and the establishment of a member-based Bowls Council. The Council was created to support good governance and continuous improvement across our bowls facilities, as well as the day-to-day administration of the sport, competitions and events.

This is my eleventh report as Chairman, and I am pleased to say that the past year has been one of the most successful and memorable chapters in the Club’s history. I am extremely proud to have been part of it. Together, we achieved excellence across all areas of the Club, strengthened our financial position by capitalising on our latest round of renovations, and expanded our contribution to the community through our grants program. The year has also created new opportunities that have inspired my colleagues and I to continue pursuing our vision of being the venue of choice in Port Macquarie and the surrounding region, while embracing and supporting the game of lawn bowls. I warmly welcome all new members and once again thank our loyal members for their continued support throughout the year.

Vale On behalf of the Board, I extend our sincere condolences to the families and friends of members who have passed away over the past 12 months. More recently, we mourned the loss of one of our much-loved staff members, Amanda ‘Mandi’ Waldron, and one of our Life Members, Frances Green. Both will be deeply missed.

I want to see the game of bowls grow and our Club continue to succeed. I believe the Bowls Council will play an integral role in communicating to management and the Board the needs, expectations and priorities of our bowls community. Our Bowls Coordinator, more recently in collaboration with the Bowls Council, continues to do a fantastic job of delivering events that attract new members and increase participation. Congratulations to all bowlers for playing the game in the spirit in which it is intended and for choosing our Club as the place to enjoy your sport. While our bowling achievements are recognised elsewhere in this Annual Report, I would particularly like to congratulate our Division 1 Women’s Pennants team on winning the Regional Championship and representing our Club with distinction at the State play-offs, our Grade 7 Open Pennant team on qualifying for the Regional Playoffs, and Luke Miner, Kylie Hardy and Jimmy Yoo on their exceptional individual seasons. None of this would be possible without our dedicated greenkeepers, volunteers, sponsors and passionate members. It was also encouraging to see the junior coaching

clinics result in increased youth registrations and participation. Thank you all for helping to make our Club such a vibrant place to play. We will continue to explore opportunities to increase bowler participation, provide a broader range of game formats for social members and visitors, assess the types of bowls surfaces best suited to our environment, upgrade ageing facilities, and ensure our greens are maintained to the highest possible standard. All of these matters were considered in the development of the Bowls Strategic Direction, and I encourage members to review the document and provide feedback.

Renovations and Development Opportunity The latest stage of renovations to our Club is now complete. As with most major building projects, there are still some matters requiring further attention, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve them. Overall, the renovations have been very well received by members and guests and have contributed to increased membership, visitation and financial performance. Members may recall that we commenced a project to make better use of our car park by identifying a joint venture partner to redevelop the site while retaining parking for members and guests. This project was placed on hold while the Club completed its renovations. Work has since resumed, and we continue to engage with our joint venture partner and independent building consultant. However, several matters must still be resolved before the Club can make any formal commitment or seek member approval. As part of our ongoing due diligence, the key issues under consideration include height restrictions, taxation implications, increased construction costs, the availability of parking during the construction period and the likely impact on trade, the identification of an experienced retirement-living operator, and an assessment of the overall financial benefit and risk to the Club.

We remain committed to maximising the potential of this site, but only at an acceptable level of risk. We will continue to work with independent property experts to guide and assist us through the process, and members will be kept informed of any material progress. Regardless of whether the project proceeds now or at some point in the future, the due-diligence process has been highly valuable. It has provided current and future Boards with a clearer understanding of the opportunities, risks and broader implications associated with developing Club property.

Membership As of July 2026, we have surpassed 16,000 social members and more than 370 bowling members. I thank every member for their support, particularly given the continuing pressures associated with the cost of living and fuel prices. Our goal remains to provide quality products and services at the best possible value and to ensure that members are proud to belong to, and advocate for, our Club.

Financial Performance This Annual Report highlights a strong financial recovery following the major clubhouse renovations. I am pleased to report that the Club achieved an audited trading surplus of $1,678,085. I was also delighted that we exceeded our annual revenue target of $20 million, which represents a significant milestone in the Club’s history. This strong performance has enabled us to substantially reduce our $6 million variable-rate renovation loan, which is now below $2 million. Our objective is to continue reducing and ultimately eliminate this debt as soon as practicable. At the same time, we will seek to minimise future borrowings while continuing to prioritise capital projects that meet the needs of our members. Any future capital

works must be assessed for appropriate return on investment and prioritised based on their ability to either save costs or generate additional revenue. Whilst we had a particularly strong year, we are aware of a broader downturn in the economy due to increased costs to essential items such as groceries and fuel. This has impacted Clubs across the State, and we must continue to closely monitor these trends and ensure that we do not overcommit.

Our challenge is to continue building on this momentum by delivering events and promotions that appeal to a wider audience and encourage repeat visitation.

We are determined to avoid the difficulties experienced by several bowling clubs that have been forced to close or be absorbed by larger organisations.

Your Club has a proud history of supporting community organisations through donations, sponsorships and the ClubGrants program, and this commitment will continue.

Together, we have demonstrated what success can look like. However, there is always room for improvement, and while I remain a member of the Board, I am committed to delivering further progress for our members.

Over the past 12 months, the Club contributed more than $100,000 through ClubGrants. Major beneficiaries included Luminosity Youth Summit, PCYC Port Macquarie, Willing & Able, Surf Life Saving Mid North Coast, Garden Village, Curb Lordz & Empowered Today.

Branding As we build on our recent success, we must continue strengthening our brand and reinforcing our position as a locally owned, family-friendly entertainment venue with outstanding bowling facilities. Your Board remains committed to continually reviewing and improving our products, services and facilities. We will continue to examine opportunities to diversify our offering, strengthen existing revenue streams, develop new sources of income, and ensure that we meet or exceed the expectations of our members and guests. In doing so, we must remain mindful of the broader political and regulatory environment, particularly the potential impact of changes to gaming regulations on the Club industry. As noted earlier, our latest renovations have been very well received and have attracted a broader demographic, particularly to our popular sports bar. They have also contributed to increased patronage throughout the Club.

Visitors and other organisations continue to recognise the quality of our Club and its staff. However, we are always looking for ways to improve, and I welcome suggestions from members and guests.

Community Support

The Club also continued to support other worthy causes, including Sister Marjorie’s Soup Kitchen, as well as local sporting organisations such as the Hastings Valley Vikings Rugby Union Club and the Port Macquarie Magpies Ladies AFL. These sponsorships and partnerships continue to deliver positive outcomes for both the Club and the organisations involved.

Good Governance and Audit Over the past year, the Board continued to place a strong emphasis on maintaining robust corporate governance practices. This included progressing initiatives outlined in the Club’s Strategic Plan and Bowls Strategic Direction, developing and reviewing key policies and plans, and applying greater rigour to risk management, audit and compliance. I would also like to thank our auditors. I am pleased that the Club has once again received an unqualified audit report for the past 12 months.

Management, Staff and Board I would like to take this opportunity to again thank our CEO, Matt Swain, who has made a seamless transition into the role following his previous position as Finance Manager. In addition to his strong financial expertise, Matt continues to demonstrate initiative, drive, professionalism, commitment and enthusiasm in pursuing the best possible outcomes for our members and the Club.

knowledge and experience, particularly in the areas of corporate governance and business, have been of exceptional value to the Board, and he will be greatly missed. I hope Wayne and Mick will seek re-election. Should they decide not to do so, they too will be greatly missed in the boardroom, and we wish them well for the future. Together, we can continue to make our Club great.

He has also continued to promote our brand through his involvement in the local community and across the wider club industry.

Despite these challenges, the standard of service delivered by our staff remains exceptionally high, and the recognition they consistently receive is thoroughly deserved. Finally, it would be remiss of me not to thank my fellow Board members for their support and contribution throughout the year. The results achieved are a testament to their skills, knowledge and understanding of what is required to operate a successful Club. A considerable amount of time and effort is involved in serving as a director, particularly during periods of political and regulatory change. The Board must navigate these challenges while continuing to operate the Club effectively and position it to meet both current and future demands. I would particularly like to acknowledge Jeff Pattinson, Wayne Evans and Mick Garrihy, whose current terms of office conclude at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Each has been a valuable member of our team. Jeff has advised that he will not seek another term. CEO’s Report Matthew Swain Dear Members, It is with immense pleasure that I present my second report on our great Club. The 2026 financial year brought some of the highest highs and lowest lows. Through it all, however, we have emerged stronger, more resilient, and more determined than ever. Before going any further, I wish to extend my sincere condolences to the families and friends of those members of our Club community who passed away during the year. In particular, we remember our much-loved staff member, Amanda (Mandi) Waldron, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in early July. Vale. Continuing the theme from last year’s report, I extend my heartfelt thanks to every member, visitor, and guest who walked through our doors and chose to support our Club. The outstanding financial result we have achieved this year would simply not have been possible without your loyalty and patronage. Equally, this success belongs to our people. Despite a year of significant challenges, our staff continued to deliver exceptional service with professionalism and warmth. I would like to make special mention of our Duty Manager team, particularly Scott Owers, who has taken on the often-thankless responsibility of rostering with remarkable dedication and skill. I also wish to acknowledge Katy-Lee Waldron, who stepped into the role of Acting Operations Manager without hesitation. She has done an outstanding job maintaining and enhancing both our service standards and

operational performance. We look forward to welcoming Adam Barrett back in the near future following his battle with illness. It would also be remiss of me not to recognise Mark Doherty, who retired during the year after more than 23 years of outstanding service as a frontline manager. We wish Mark and Fran every happiness in their retirement. Fortunately for us, we know he won’t be a stranger to the Club as he takes up lawn bowls and becomes a regular visitor on Wednesday afternoons. Last year I spoke about our commitment to “Profit for Port”—the idea that the Club’s success should directly benefit our local community. One remarkable statistic that reinforces this is our gross wages bill of more than $6.2 million during the past financial year. That money goes directly into the pockets of local people, who in turn support local businesses and the wider regional economy. In addition, the Club contributed more than $2 million in State-based taxes, including gaming and payroll tax, along with approximately $1.4 million in Goods and Services Tax. As I alluded to earlier, the 12 months to June 2026 was a landmark financial year for the Club. We recorded an audited trading surplus of $1,678,085, compared with $683,455 in 2025, after accounting for depreciation and finance costs. When these non-cash and financing expenses are added back, our EBITDA (cash generated from operations) reached an impressive $3,572,277, up from $2,183,025 in 2025. This represents an EBITDA margin of 15.9%, compared with 12.2% in the previous year.

Revenue also reached a historic milestone, exceeding $20 million for the first time even whilst maintaining the most competitive beverage prices in the region. Total revenue for the year was $22,400,397, compared with $17,870,157 for the 13-month reporting period to June 2025. To place these achievements in perspective, over the past 20 years the Club has averaged annual revenue of $11,277,108, EBITDA of $1,833,596, and a net profit of $667,701. These results represent one of the strongest financial performances in our Club’s history. A significant portion of these surplus funds has been applied against our variable-rate loan, which at the time of writing has been reduced to below $2 million. In addition, the Club has access to more than $3 million in available funds. I commend the Board for its foresight in utilising the loan’s offset facility, which has delivered interest savings in the vicinity of $100,000 during the year. Despite all of the financial success, there are ominous macroeconomic headwinds as we head into the 2027 Financial Year. We must carefully evaluate our offerings, remain current in an incredibly competitive market and as always, maintain prudency with regards to capital expenditure. Our financial strength has also enabled us to continue investing in our community. During the past financial year, the Club contributed well in excess of $100,000 in cash and in-kind support to local organisations and initiatives. This continued investment reflects our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the Port Macquarie – Hastings community, including our ongoing support of the Luminosity Youth Summit.

From a governance and continuous improvement perspective, we established a member-based Bowls Council, which at the time of writing has already held three monthly meetings. The discussions have been productive, generating a number of positive ideas that will be progressively implemented to improve the experience for all participants. One simple but well-received initiative was the immediate return of the tea and coffee station prior to tournaments. I encourage everyone to continue supporting the Council members and Phil as these improvements continue. Finally, I would like to thank the Directors for their unwavering support, commitment, and dedication throughout the year. There have been countless meetings, phone calls, and emails over the past 12 months, but together we can all take pride in what has been achieved. Bowls Achievements Our Grade 7 Open Pennant team continued their outstanding form by qualifying for the Regional Playoffs after winning the State Grade 7 Pennant Flag last year. The team produced another excellent campaign and were narrowly defeated in the Regional Final. Our Division 1 Women's Pennant team claimed the Regional Championship with a superb victory over Park Beach, earning a place in the State Pennant Playoffs at Figtree Bowling Club. The team has since progressed to the Quarter Finals and is competing today. Luke Miner enjoyed an exceptional season, winning the Club Major Singles, Club Major Pairs, Club Triples, Mixed Triples, and the Prestige Pairs. Luke also partnered with Phil Baker in the Champion of Champions State Pairs, where they advanced to the Quarter Finals, capping off an outstanding year. To top it all off, Luke earned selection in our Grade 1 Open Pennant team for the first time.

Kylie Hardy also enjoyed a remarkable year. Teaming with Jodie Freund, she won the Club Major Pairs, while also claiming the Club Major Singles, Mixed Triples, and Major/Minor Pairs with Jill Knight. Kylie and Jodie went on to represent Port City in the Champion of Champions State Pairs, advancing through to the Quarter Finals. Jimmy Yoo continued his impressive rise with an outstanding season, winning both the Minor Singles and the Minor Pairs alongside Todd Watling. A sincere thank you to Nigel Perry and the Greens Staff for their outstanding commitment and hard work throughout the year. Their dedication to maintaining our greens to such a high standard has provided members and visitors with excellent playing surfaces and has been a major contributor to the club's success. MID NORTH COAST BOWLS

Junior League Report The Mid North Coast Bowls Junior League has continued to provide a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment for young people to learn and enjoy the game of bowls. We currently have 20 registered participants, with an average weekly attendance of 10 juniors. It has been fantastic to watch the players’ skills develop throughout the year. Their confidence continues to grow each week, and it is especially rewarding to see their excitement as they progress from learning the fundamentals to playing proper games of bowls. The friendships that have formed within the group have been equally pleasing, with our junior bowlers creating a supportive environment that warmly welcomes new participants. A highlight of each session has been our Glow Bowls finale. This light-up version of the game has become a favourite amongst the juniors, who eagerly look forward to ending each training session with a fun and energetic game. It has proven to be a great way to reinforce skills while ensuring the program remains enjoyable and engaging. Behind the scenes, our committee has been working alongside Bowls Australia to develop a school participation program that can be delivered to local primary and high schools. We are excited about the opportunities this initiative will create and hope it will introduce more young people to the sport, helping to grow participation in the Junior League over the coming year. Port City Bowling Club now has six registered junior bowlers, (Lachlan Walters, Oliver Walters, Lilly Waldron, Toby Hofkamp, Flynn Hofkamp & Archie Day ) all who were recently selected to represent the region at the Inter Region 7-a-Side Championships held in Dubbo from 10–12 July; they were also joined by Lucas Everson from

Wauchope and Chloe Zelvis from Woolgoolga to complete the regional side. Every player represented the region with enthusiasm and sportsmanship, and for many, this was their very first bowls tournament. Their performances were outstanding, and all showed great sportsman ship over the weekend. This event highlighted the exciting future of junior bowls especially within our region. Lachlan Walters has continued to achieve outstanding success while proudly representing Port City Bowling Club. On 1–2 August, Lachlan competed at the NSW Rookies Championships, progressing through to the quarterfinals. He has also had the honour of representing New South Wales in the Combined Catholic High Schools (CCHS) Championships and was a member of the NSW Under 18 Boys team for the upcoming Tri-Series. Adding to his impressive list of achievements, Lachlan was also runner-up in the NSW Under 18 State Fours Championship. We congratulate Lachy on his outstanding accomplishments and wish him every success as he continues to represent both the Club and New South Wales. We are also incredibly proud of the achievements of our junior representatives and the continued success of the Mid North Coast Bowls Junior League which would not be possible without the ongoing support of the Club and our dedicated volunteer coaches & committee members. We look forward to building on this momentum and welcoming even more young bowlers to the greens in the year ahead! VIKINGS

Mid Season Report Season 2026 has started in a positive fashion for the Hastings Valley Vikings with the club fielding a 1st grade, Reserve Grade, under 18s and 14s on Saturdays and under 12s down to under 6s on Friday nights. Our junior program continues to grow with the club also now fielding an Under 12 girls side for the first time as we try and establish a female rugby program in this rapidly growing area. We had 20 players represent Mid North Coast in the various junior age groups with Luke Jones making Country 18s and Jack Healey making NSW CCC. In the local Saturday competition our Under 14s sit 3rd after 7 rounds while our Under 18s are playing competitive rugby each week in the expanded 18s competition that includes clubs from Port Macquarie to Mullumbimby. Our Senior Grades have made a great start to 2026 and after 7 rounds 1st grade sit 2nd on the ladder while 2nd grade sit in 3rd place, both of these competitions are extremely tight and each weekend of results brings major changes on the competition ladder. Under the tutelage of our Head Coaches Huon Barrett and Will Twigg our young squad continues to develop and mature with recent results vindicating the hard work done during the week.

Off the field we have been able to have a run of home games with the highlight being our Sponsors Day and Charity Day where not only did we have a great win over our local rivals but we raised over $11000 for Little Wings- a charity that provides free, professional and safe flight and ground transportation for sick children and their families living in Regional areas with our annual jersey auction. This would not be possible without the help our committee, volunteers and our sponsors who continue to invest in our club and help make it what it is today. This is our 13th year with Port City Bowling Club as our Major Sponsor and we are proud to continue this association as we believe our core values align and make this a great partnership. We look forward to the continued progression of our club as a whole for 2026 and beyond and the continued partnership with Port City Bowling Club well into the future. AFL PORT MACQUARIE

Magpies Ladies The 2026 season has been a steady and encouraging year for the Magpies Women’s Program. The group has continued to build confidence and connection, with noticeable improvement across games. The squad has balanced new players with returning experience, creating a supportive environment focused on development and teamwork. The Women’s Program is well placed heading into 2027. Interest from new players has grown, junior girls numbers continue to rise at training and we have had three Under 17s girls make their Senior Women’s debut this season and continue to hold there spot, and the club is committed to strengthening player development and that link between the junior and senior magpies. The group’s culture remains grounded in inclusiveness, effort, and pride in representing the Magpies. The Magpies continue to contribute strongly to the AFL North Coast pathway. In 2026, eight Magpies were selected in the 20 player North Coast Force Women’s Representative Squad, a great reflection of the progress and quality within the program. Played this Saturday at Wayne Richards Park.

Key Events & Community Engagement Ladies Day hosted by Port City: A hugely successful day that brought together players, supporters, and sponsors. The event showcased the strength of the women’s program and the ongoing support from Port City. ANZAC Day Raffles at Port City: The squad assisted with raffles and fundraising throughout ANZAC Day, helping strengthen community ties and supporting club initiatives. Club & Community Involvement: Players have been active across club events, junior clinics, and match day support, continuing to build strong connections within the Magpies community.
