CLUB NOTES AND UPDATES
Welcome to Parc Ynysderw for this Ardal League Southern league game against our friends from Goytre United. Welcome also to Match Referee Kevin Delgado and his officials. Many thanks also to Annette’s House of Beauty for the sponsorship of today’s game. Annette’s House of Beauty is based on Herbert Street in Pontardawe.
It has been a poor couple of months in respect of the weather with many games postponed and you can see from our fixture list that we are now set to complete our season on the 23rd May away to AFC Llwycoed. Checkout our fixture for more updates.
After today’s game we will be looking forward to the visit of Prestatyn Town FC in the FAW Trophy Quarter Finals to Parc Ynysderw next Saturday. They are a club with a great history and are currently having a good season so we will need to be at our very best in what is going to be an exciting day for the club.
• Event Update : Join us for an Evening with Alan Tate and Guests on the 28th March at Pontardawe RFC. A former Swansea City favourite and now a highly respected Assistant Manager, formerly of Leicester and Nottingham Forest, and now with Brondby IF in the Danish Superleague
• Transfer Update : We welcome Joe Clarke to the club as he joins us from Trefelin BGC
• Fixture Update : Check out the fixture list for a number of rearranged games at the back end of the season.
• Youth @ Ponty : Tomorrow the Development travel are home to Cambrian United but the Under 18s have a a free weekend.
• Ground Update : Meetings continue with all parties and we are now awaiting the final estimates in order to submit the final grant applications. Still lot of work ahead, and although it is taking time, the future is really looking positive

Luke re-joins the club after being away for a few seasons with Garden Village and Llangyfelach. A centre half with a great future at this level
Steve rejoins us after a few seasons at Trefelin in the JD Cymru South. A brilliant signing for the club to welcome back such a high quality player
Steffan is another who has joined us from Trefelin where he had an excellent season. Another excellent addition to the squad here at Parc Ynysderw
A big favourite here during his last spell Harri now returns from Ammanford Town. An exciting attacking option who is solid in defence we are so please to welcome Harri back
Colin returns to Town where he had a short spell some time ago. A top player and a proven goalscorer with a wealth of experience. Welcome back Colin
With speed to burn Dafydd can turn any defender inside out as he proved on many occasion last season. Will be looking to increase his goal tally this year
"JD" is Mr Ponty Been with us since birth and is still one of our most skilfull players. A real stalwart of the club and a scorer of some real crackers with hopefully more to come this season
Another of last season’s championship winners who has broken into the first squad with some excellent performances. Another future star here at Parc Ynysderw
Joe is a great player with loads of experience and joins us from Trefelin BGC. He has previously been here as a coach with our Academy
Jordan is another exciting prospect here at Parc Ynysderw who is part of our Academy set up. He has already shown he can step up to this level and exciting times are ahead

Will was our Peter James Young Player of the Year for the 20242025 season. An outstanding talent in midfield who outshone many an experienced opposition player last season.
Max featured for the first team a few times last season and is another one of the title winning Academy squad players. A real talent with an eye for goal
Jesse will join us in August when he turns 16 and will be immediately pushing for a first team start. He is a real talent and has an exciting future here at Parc Ynysderw
Kyle has played at Swansea City, Merthyr Town, Yeovil Town and many more but more recently has been banging them in at St Josephs FC. A proven goalscorer who hope will help take us to the next level here at Parc Ynysderw
Sam joins us from Morriston Town and comes with loads of experience at this level. A solid and attack minded midfielder who is a great addition to the squad here at Parc Ynysderw
Jordan joins us from England based Billinghurst FC and we look forward to seeing him the Black & White of Pontardawe Town
