The Parks and Recreation Department is proud to introduce the Youth Athletic Sponsorship (YAS)—an exciting new initiative aimed at strengthening our community through youth engagement. This program seeks the support of individuals, community groups, and local businesses to help enhance the City of Pompano Beach’s parks and recreation youth sports, services, and facilities.
Your sponsorship directly supports opportunities that enrich the lives of local youth, ensuring they have access to safe, fun, and high-quality recreational experiences that foster growth and development while promoting physical and mental wellness.
The City of Pompano Beach offers a dynamic range of youth sports programs for children, ages 5 to 15, serving over 1,500 young athletes annually. Our goal is to provide a positive, supportive environment where kids can thrive both on and off the field.
Participation in our youth sports programs promotes:
• Physical health and fitness
• Teamwork and cooperation
• Skill development and personal growth
• Increased self-esteem and confidence
• Lifelong friendships and community connections
Youth sports are more than just games—they’re a powerful tool for shaping the next generation. With your sponsorship, we can continue to provide the quality programs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to play, grow, and succeed. Your sponsorship supports uniforms, equipment, and scholarships for children who might not otherwise have access to organized sports.
