The Menopause Practice opened in Winnipeg in 2025, founded by Manitoba’s premier hormone specialist, Nurse Practitioner Annabelle Reimer, and the team behind Body Measure, Melina Elliott, and Erica Henderson. The practice has grown quickly: the team now includes five Nurse Practitioners, who are either certified by The Menopause Society or are currently in the certification process; Registered Dietitian Angela Martens; and Registered Social Worker & Counsellor Carolyn Nykiforuk.

Poise Publications is a custom magazine publisher owned by Lisa Muirhead, who has over 25 years of experience in the magazine industry. You probably know her local magazine, The Cellar Door, a wine lifestyle that has been in production since 2008! She has also published polo magazines (yes—the sport with horses!) for clubs in Houston, Chicago, Calgary, and California. Lisa is working with Leigh McKenzie of Hinge Design, a local design firm that works on Canada’s History (formerly The Beaver—a name we considered for this publication…) and Kayak magazine, as well as an international interior design publication for Benjamin Moore
