The achievements obtained in 2020, even amid the difficulties brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, generated enough momentum to give us energy and focus for 2021. Thanks to this, we ensured that during 2021 our programs and projects continued serving the most vulnerable in a timely and effective manner. In 2021, we expanded our services and reached 700 children. They benefited through our school tutoring, health and nutrition services, and spiritual guidance. Attention in our medical clinics increased by 8%, serving with excellence a population that does not have easy access to quality medical services. Also, through partnership, we helped train teachers of more than eight schools of Tegucigalpa, which benefited more than 4,000 students. Year after year, we confirm that difficulties are only opportunities to grow in responsibility with the most vulnerable. This is why the Christian Foundation Point of Impact presents this report. It summarizes the activities carried out so that each child and family affiliated with our program can enjoy quality services and programs.

05 I. CCEPREB In 2021, it was estimated that around 160,000 children between the ages of 4 and 6 were enrolled in education systems. Unfortunately, for pre-school children, virtual classes did not allow their optimal growth in the formulation of thought and emotion processing, which usually develops in this age with the social interaction of other classmates. Also, their level of comprehension was lower than what a child in face-to-face classes would have. Fortunately, the Foundation has two government-accredited kindergarten programs CCEPREB (Spanish acronym for Pre-School Education Comunity Centers). They are located in the neighborhoods of Las Mercedes and San Juan del Norte. In 2021, 61 students graduated from kindergarten. Under rigorous biosafety measures, they met in face-to-face classes, thus developing skills in Personal and Social Development, Relationship with Environment, Communication, and Representation.
It should be noted that the children in our program receive their education and materials completely free of charge.

The Honduran Education Observatory estimated that around 2 million Honduran students were left out of the educational system in 2021. And it was estimated that 60% of students did not have access to the internet, computer, or smart device for their virtual classes. The Foundation implements a school tutoring program based on the national curriculum. The purpose is to help the 639 children affiliated with our program, in grades 1 to 6, improve their acquired knowledge and especially help those with more learning difficulties. The program prioritizes essential topics for each specific grade. We focus on the subjects of Math, Spanish Grammar, and Science. Knowing that many of our children do not have proper access to the internet or smart device, each POINT center was equipped with internet, a computer, and a printer to help the children print the material required by their school teachers to work at home.

07 Most educational institutions were caught by surprise with the restrictions as a result of bio-safety measures of the COVID-19 and very prematurely implemented a virtual education system. Because of the growing need to enable means to ensure the quality of virtual classes, POINT established outreach processes with schools near our centers. It investigated the educational processes of children affiliated with our program. In this process, we were able to highlight two urgent needs: Need for an educational platform that teachers could access and guaranteed enough class time without interruptions. Training for teachers on how to use virtual education platforms to improve the quality of virtual classes. With the desire to help increase learning time for our POINT children and other children in our communities, we launched the project "UNITED FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF ACCESS TO VIRTUAL EDUCATION." It guaranteed access to zoom platforms for eight community schools and the training of 37 teachers in the proper use of the platform. This effort helped reach more than 4,000 students in Tegucigalpa. Noticing that some children were receiving only 20% adequate class time per year, we felt the need to provide a little more help to those who did not have easy access to the internet. In 2021, more than 600 workbooks were printed so that children without internet access could continue with distance education.

Within our education services, we couldn't forget the participation and involvement of one of the fundamental actors for the success of the learning process: parents. That is why we saw it necessary to strengthen the families of our POINT children and those of our partner schools. With Walk Thru The Bible Honduras and Campus Crusade Honduras, POINT Honduras reached over 600 homes with the Parent Seminar "The Art of Parenting" curriculum. This FamilyLife resource provides insight and creative ways to integrate faith into everyday parenting moments. Three sessions were held where resources and tools were shared to guide parents to make faith essential in parenting and provide intentional biblical instruction and Christ-centered plans that "turn children's hearts towards God."

In November, all the POINT teachers had a follow-up training with the ministry Walk Thru The Bible in the seminar "Walk through the Old and New Testaments." This training reinforced the teachers' knowledge, which they placed in action in December during our Vacation Bible School.

11 In memory of Doña Nohemy Peñalva de Barahona, Inspirata Foundation awarded two POINT graduates educational scholarships. This helped support them in their transition to secondary education. Thanks to the scholarship, the young women could buy educational supplies that helped them return to school.

12 POINT's support to the children in our centers is up to sixth grade. In 2021, 80 children graduated from our program, most of whom had been in our program since pre-school. We took them to the movies as a reward for their fidelity and as the last celebration. In each center, there were also small acts of celebration.

I. POINT MEDICAL CLINICS In 2021, around 21,600 patients were treated in our three medical clinics. The POINT clinics are located in: the San Juan Del Norte, Las Mercedes, and Villa Nueva neighborhoods and have responded to the health needs of these neighborhoods and are a promoter of correct information about the necessary care for the prevention of COVID-19. Our clinics treat children and families affiliated with our projects free of charge. Still, it is also open to the entire population at a symbolic price. Our clinics also have pharmacies fully stocked with medications delivered to patients at no extra cost during their medical appointment.

14 During October, in commemoration of the month of women's health, Pap smears and breast exams were given to 300 women from the neighborhoods of San Juan, Las Mercedes, and Villa Nueva free of charge.

15 In 2021, we were accompanied by a psychology intern from the National Autonomous University of Honduras. He worked with 80 children from our centers and children's home. He conducted aptitude tests, psychometric tests, and trained our transition youth in life skills. Along with him, we were accompanied by a group of psychology students who carried out diagnostic testing processes in selected children in our centers and helped the intern with different processes.

In our four centers, nutritious food is given to each enrolled child. The cooks are constantly trained to maintain portion control and food quality. In 2021, 180,000 meals were served. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, meals continue to be packaged for children to take home. For many of the affiliated children in our program, our meal is the only meal time they have that is complete and sustains them.

This year we delivered 1,600 food packages which were delivered on two different occasions to each family of the affiliated children, families from the community that were identified with urgent needs, need, and members of our churches.

18 I. HOME CONSTRUCTION The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) indicates that at least 405 of the 892 neighborhoods of Tegucigalpa are at a high level of social vulnerability. The neighborhoods in which we have our centers are proof of the harsh reality of their residents. In 2021, we built two houses for families of children affiliated with our POINT projects.

II. MISSION GROUPS Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visits from mission groups had stopped. Fortunately, in August 2021, we had a visit. They had raised funds to build one of our children's houses and decided to bring sports uniforms to our centers.

20 During this time of the pandemic, we have seen the need for the body of Christ to be encouraged and empowered. In November 2021, we were accompanied by the Downline Ministry, who provided a day of training to more than 50 people on the Christian life, building strong Christian families, discipleship, and evangelism.
