SUMMARY Executive

The Christian Foundation Point of Impact exists to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to the most vulnerable children of Tegucigalpa, creating spaces where they are loved, taught, fed, and able to create a healthy and integral connection with society. For this reason, programs have been created that can comprehensively help provide for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

The foundation’s programs take place in disadvan taged neighborhoods in the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa, such as Las Mercedes, San Juan, Villa Nueva, and February 21 neighborhoods.

In the year 2023, we served 800 school- age children who received school tutoring classes, biblical education, and a daily meal. We also have 3 medical clinics where quality care was provided to the communities where we serve.

The Christian Foundation Point of Impact presents this report as a summary of the activities carried out in favor of the development of the children and in support of their families.

5

I. Backpack Program

This program aims to ensure the children`s school permanace by providing them with a backpack, school supplies, uniforms and school shoes. to this program, parents of children enrolled in the POINT program can re duce expenses and thus guarantee that the children can attend their classes with their basic school needs covered. In February 2023 we delivered backpacks to all the boys and girls enrolled in the POINT centers.

8

II. CCEPREB

The Christian Foundation Point of Impact has 2 Preschool Education Community Centers (CCEPREB), which are an education alternative accredited by the Honduran Secretary of Education. These centers are located in the Las Mercedes and San Juan del Norte neighborhoods.

In 2023, 48 students graduated from preschool, and they developed skills and knowledge that will help them as they enter into the primary education system. It is worth mentioning that our CCEPREB are completely free and each student is provided with their school materials throughout the year.

9

III. School Tutoring Program

Year after year, the Christian Foundation Point of Impact looks for ways to strengthen the tutoring program to support the specific academic deficiencies that children may have. From Monday to Friday, children receive classes based on the National Basic Curriculum, helping them reinforce the knowledge acquired in the subjects of Mathematics and Spanish. In 2023, 800 children from grades 1st to 6th benefited from this program.

10

IV. BIBLE SCHOOL

As stated in its mission, Point Honduras exists to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to the most vulnerable children of Tegucigalpa. One of the ways in which we share the gospel is by providing Bible classes with specialized materials in our centers on a weekly basis. This year we continued the “Walk through the Old and New Testament” from the Walk through the Bible program for children. This is a structured Bible study that allows the child to learn the Bible stories in chronological order accompanied by a gesture to facilitate memorization.

11

VII. Inspirata Scholarships

In 2023 we continued our alliance with Inspirata Foundation to provide educational scholarships to young people with limited economic resources who graduate from our projects so that they can continue with their secondary education. In 2023, 4 graduates from our POINT centers continued to enjoy the benefits of the Inspirata scholarships, which include technological tools, educational materials, shoes and school uniforms.

12

VIII. Sixth Grade Graduations

In 2023, a total of 100 6th grade students completed our tutoring program, which also marks the successful completion of their basic education in the public schools in the areas where they live. With this we contribute to the country’s statistics of a 46.8% reduction of school dropouts.

13

I. Medical Clinics

POINT medical clinics guarantee access to health services for children, adults and the elderly.

All of our 800 students and their families have completely free access to medical consults and medications.

Our clinics are also open to people from each of the communities we serve for a symbolic fee.

In 2023, the 3 clinics provided a total of 21,600 medical consults.

16

II. Nutrition

At the Point Centers we have a nutrition program that consists of the daily preparation of nutritious and delicious food for our students.

Each center has a full kitchen and trained cooks who carefully ensure the preparation of said foods. Likewise, optimal sanitary conditions are enjoyed in all projects.

This program has enabled malnourished children to overcome this condition. In 2023, a total of 192,000 meals were served in our 4 centers.

17

In our centers, children weight checks are carried out with the objective of identifying if they suffer from malnutrition, obesity or a lack of any nutrient in their diet.

In 2023, training was carried out with Copeco staff, who shared knowledge about good nutritional practices for children with the parents of the San Juan del Norte community.

III. Weight Checks

18

IV. UNTO Optometry Consults

In 2023, the Christian Foundation Point of Impact together with a missionary team from the UNTO ministry from the United States, served together to provide completely free optometry consults to the general public in the four neighborhoods where we serve in the capital, which are Colonia Villanueva, San Juan del Norte, 21 de Febrero and Las Mercedes.

On this day, patients also benefited from free eyeglasses, with a total of 1,500 pairs of lenses donated.
