I am honored to serve the community as President/CEO of the Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce. My goal since I started in this role in March 2015, has been to increase partnerships. That includes Non-profits, Jesica Stickles Municipalities, Businesses and Residents. No one person, organization or business should feel like they have to go at it alone. At the Chamber, you will find resources to achieve each of your goals. We are here to help! Over the years, Marysville has developed their downtown shopping corridor around 3rd street and created a great family spot at the waterfront. The Tulalip tribes has developed their shopping corridor and expanded on the entertainment options for the visitors of the reservation. Anything you need to live, shop, play and stay in Marysville and Tulalip! Our Visitors Information Center (VIC) is located in the front part of the Chamber office. It is visited by an average of 400 people each month from all over the county, state and world! On top of it being a great place to meet new people, we are also able serve the tourism portion of our community. We treat our visitors as guests. When giving the guests advise on where to go and what to see, we focus on the attractions that are nearby and that will give our guests an experience they will not forget and will surely return for! The Chamber started out in this tiny caboose for 10 years, then in 2002 moved to the current 2,000 sq ft. Chamber Offices & Regional Visitor Information Center. Organized in 1908, the Chamber made national history in 1996 when Chamber leadership expanded its name from the Greater Marysville Chamber of Commerce to The Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce. While the Tulalip Tribes, a federally recognized sovereign Indian nation, was already one of its members, the Chamber wanted to formally recognize and support Tulalip’s growing role in the region’s economy, plus it wanted to demonstrate the strength that comes from working together in partnership. It is the first and only U.S. Chamber to partner with a sovereign nation, and this unique partnership, serving as an economic and social bridge between the two communities, has been made a national role model for ethnic diversity by the US Chamber of Commerce. A new logo was developed, representing that from land to sea the two business communities are working together for their combined community success. The Chamber serves as a pro-business advocate representing members on all governmental fronts. Recognized statewide and nationally as a leader in legislative affairs, the Chamber’s President / CEO and Board members collectively hold seats on some of the most influential Boards of Directors throughout the state. This allows it to expand its voice and lobbying efforts and keeps us all at the forefront of emerging issues that impact your ability to do business. In 2002, the Chamber moved into a strategically located 2,000-sq.-ft. facility at the entrance of Quil Ceda Village adjacent to I-5. At this time the Chamber expanded to include a Regional Visitor Center open during the week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., staffed by community volunteers. The Chamber’s Executive Conference Room is used by residents, businesses, civic leaders and community organizations from throughout Snohomish, King and Skagit counties. Our “Business Card Wall” featuring Chamber members by service category is an invaluable tool for referring the thousands of visitors coming through our doors each month to find just what they need. The Regional Visitor Information Center (VIC) has many resources for information that aid individuals looking for answers. The VIC has developed resource databases covering hundreds of topics such as: halls to rent, RV and camping sites, schools, restaurants, shopping, where to play, local events, family activities, wireless Internet hotspots, clubs and organizations and much more. 2017 ◗ Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce

Our Bi-monthly E-Newsletter features member articles and event flyers and is sent out to over 1,200+ subscribers. Special E-mail Blasts are available for ribbon cuttings, grand openings, member events and open houses. Every year over 10,000 printed Business Directories are created and distributed to all Washington Visitor Centers, Hotels, and Tourism locations. This directory is also available digitally on local newspaper and tourism websites. Other advertising opportunities in the directory are offered at a discounted price for Chamber Members. Display your business cards, brochures, coupons, and special event flyers in the Marysville Tulalip Regional Visitor Information Center (VIC). Strategically located off I-5 and Exit 200 in the Quil Ceda Village shopping center. The VIC serves area residents and businesses as well as a myriad of visitors from throughout the county, state, nation, and WORLD. In just 2015 alone the VIC had 81,445 website visitors, answered 8,773 phone inquiries and 25,674 email requests and assisted over 15,000 walk ins. Our trained volunteer staff proudly recommend Chamber Member Businesses first to all inquiries. A professional meeting room, seating up to 26 people is available for member and community use for as low as $25 for a 4-hour period. SPECIAL EVENT RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONIES Let the Chamber help you celebrate your Grand Opening, Expansion, Rebranding, or Anniversary. We will coordinate with City and Tribal officials and invite the local community and media to your event. The Chamber representative will be there at your event and provide ceremonial scissors and a commemorative ribbon.

Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce’s Regional Visitor Information Center is dedicated to supporting and expanding our area’s tourism industry by promoting area businesses and attractions. Located just off of Exit 200 in Tulalip’s Quil Ceda Village, we serve area residents and businesses as well as a myriad of visitors from throughout the county, state, region, nation and the world. We actively maintain hundreds of resources that assist us in responding to the over 6,500 individuals who walk through our doors each year, as well as in answering the thousands of phone calls, and e-mail requests we receive annually. Our VIC is staffed by a dedicated professional group of volunteers that we recruit and train. Our volunteer personnel are recognized annually by the White House with individual US Presidential Service Awards based on their annual hours of service. They know the area, as so many of our volunteers have lived in the area decades, if not their entire lives. They know where to shop, eat, stay overnight and where to play. Our Center is open Monday through Friday year round and features free Wi-Fi service that is advertised on I-5 with our Department of Transportation signage. Come visit us anytime, whether you need a map, directions or information on local events and attractions.
