A Commissioner That Grays Harbor Can Count On Frank Gordon has been married 49 years, and he has raised his family in Grays Harbor Count. Placing the citizen’s needs before special interests, Frank Gordon will continue to bring common sense solutions to the complex issues facing our citizens. Frank Gordon has been serving the Grays Harbor community all of his adult life. He proudly volunteers to be the weekly “grandpa” at Robert Gray Elementary School and also volunteers on holidays at the Pacific Care Nursing Home.
Securing Jobs for Grays Harbor Frank Gordon has been hard at work for the working people. As a County Commissioner and a board member of the Washington State Coast Sustainable Salmon Partnership, and the Chehalis Fisheries Task Force, Frank Gordon has been instrumental in creating jobs by securing 11.1 million dollars in 2015 and 3.7 million dollars in 2016 for salmon-habitat improvement. Additionally, Frank has been working on the Westport Boat Basin dredging project that could save as many as 2,300 jobs.

Steve is a native of the Pacific Northwest and lives in Seabeck, Washington with his wife, Julia. Retired from the U.S. Navy as a Commander after serving 25 years, he has extensive leadership experience. He is an avid naturalist, hiker, backpacker, mountaineer, hunter and fisherman.
I’ve been connected to the land and sea for my entire life, and after traveling the world, there is no place I would rather live. Public trust lands and the good employees at DNR and private sector jobs the DNR timber harvests produce need experienced, balanced leadership. I want to manage our lands so my grandchildren experience what I have during my life here. As a Naval Officer, I’ve led organizations of comparable size to DNR and know how to lead people so they perform their best. In 2015, 8,500 fire fighters were deployed. DAVE TIMMONS PUD COMMISSIONER I have been a lifelong resident of Grays Harbor County, having served in the United States Marine Corps from 1969-1974 and employed as an Aberdeen Police Officer for over 42 years - rising through the ranks from Patrol Officer to Deputy Chief. For the last 14 years I have been responsible for creating and administering the Police Departments annual budget. The Police Department does not have the options to raise rates for budget shortfalls and I have no problem saying no to spending. During my career I have served on various Washington State Traffic Safety Advisory Boards, I have participated in Leadership Grays Harbor, coached youth sports and a member of the Aberdeen Elks #593, and an avid Seahawks fan. We all depend on sound business decisions by our PUD Commissioners. Every decision we make has an impact on each of us. Such an important commodity requires a proven & dedicated leader to make decisions that will best serve every rate payer and that is not always easy. I have proven my ability to make the right decisions, for the right reason, at the right time as a public servant in our community, and will continue to make the right decisions, for the right reason, at the right time as your PUD Commissioner. I have been your PUD Commissioner for the last five years. One of my responsibilities is serving on the Board of Directors for the Washington PUD Association (WPUDA). The PUD Association represents 27 nonprofit, community-owned utilities. My job is represent our PUD in state, regional, and national legislative and policy processes on issues that can impact you and we have been successful. I have proven throughout my career that I have the experience to make difficult, demanding decisions. Our Grays Harbor PUD is going through many challenges and I have the skills and experience to continue that fight for you. I do my very best to control our internal cost, but the challenges we face are the $23 million external cost. The costs include Fish and Wildlife ($6 million), Residential Exchange ($4 million), and I-937 ($13 million). And there’s a new initiative on the ballot this year that will add even a bigger burden on each of us If it passes. We are trying to influence positive changes that will benefit and not be another liability for our ratepayers. It’s a tough battle, but we are determined to continue the fight, and we’ll need your help.
