To Your Health! For more than a decade, The Beachcomber has created the Health & Wellness Guide, a directory of island providers and services dedicated to helping people get healthy and stay well. We hope people will turn to this guide when they need care along life’s path, whether they are looking for a physician, searching for support as a new parent or needing assistance when a loved one is at the end of life. Vashon has abundant resources to call upon when help is needed. We extend a thank you to all the providers who participated in the guide and offer a special word of gratitude to Dr. Leif Rasmussen of Vashon Dental for sponsoring the guide for the third year in a row. — Susan Riemer, Health and Wellness Guide Editor
