Plans for Next Year: I want to take more college classes, work as much and as hard as I can, and do the things that make me happy. Dreams for the Future: To have dinner with Snoop Dogg. To not have to worry about tomorrow. Most Memorable Moments: Getting to go to high school with my cousin and lifelong best friend Emma Elvis, "Important Things" and Kyle Cease, Rockband with JARS, Nick Bey's incredible laugh, the 10 minutes between jazz and concert band, Prom 2010, Eureka Drive, doom metal, October Rust, the Summer we camped at Lakedale, sketchy snow driving with Karrisa and Jesse, Jordan and Brandie honoring my name on the rock, hanging out with dude bros, learning how to golf, working at Browne's and meeting so many of the wonderful and crazy people on this island. I plan to continue my fitness and health lifestyle by following my dreams to San Diego, where I’ll work in personal training, fitness instructing and training at a world-class gym. I will attend a community college to expand my knowledge of nutrition and fitness education.

Plans for Next Year: When I leave high school I hope to go to a two-year community college to get an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts, and then head on to work as a cook. Dreams for the Future: I hope to have enough money to live happy, and have enough time to myself that I may relax somewhat through life. Most Memorable Moments: My best memories of high school are my participation in the community dinners. These have helped me hone my skills in my preferred field of work, as well as integrate myself more into the community and my class. They are a great addition to my resume and my own skills. Dreams for the Future: I hope to get a degree in fine arts in animation and have a career in video game design and animation. Most Memorable Moments: My most enjoyable moment was when I recited the entire Preamble to the Constitution to my class. I also enjoyed getting first place in my bowling competitions two years in a row. I liked taking two dates to the prom in Montana. I will always remember getting to help start a video game production club at FHHS and the opportunity to meet so many new people when we moved here.

Plans for Next Year: Next year I will be attending Washington State University. I'm excited to be in a place with more people to meet and more opportunities to grow as a person. Dreams for the Future: While there I hope to work towards my dream of becoming an engineer. Most Memorable Memories: My memories of high school will remain a happy, save for finals and other stressful things, when I think back to my time here: cruising in the man van, swimming at the quarry, lunches in the CCC, making jack-o-lanterns with Lita, dancing with Amy, summer camp, retrieving popcorn from Palace Theater, watching movies for the hopeless romantic, new friends at the public library, eating out at lunch even when I was too broke to afford it, or hip hop work out videos. The best thing, even though sometimes it seemed like the worst, I did in high school was my community project with my best friends.

Dreams for the Future: My goals and dreams for the future involve going to Western Washington University where I intend to study History and come out with a teaching degree. My dream is just to make enough money to support myself, and the family I intend to have, and be comfortable and happy. That or become supreme overlord of all existence. Whatever happens first. Most Memorable Moments: High School was a pretty fun experience. I particularly enjoyed any classes taught by Mr. Sawyer or Mr. McNairy, though all the teachers were good. One of my fondest memories came from this year, as I landed the leading role in the high school play. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy the role, I got to know some people I normally wouldn't have within the cast. I forged some great relationships in high school that I hope will last a lifetime.

Plans for next year: Next year I plan on attending Seattle Maritime Academy. It's part of the Central-Seattle Community College and going there for a year. Dreams for the Future: My dreams for the future are to go make a lot of money and have a really good time doing it. Most memorable moments: State championship lax, bonfires at Sam's, baker trips, Kate Lear Fenley, wrestling trips with the gang, junior year lacrosse 5th in state! 3 great years starting July 31st, 2010, birthday 2012, skim boarding at Eagles Cove.

Dreams for the Future: I hope to take life one day at a time, spending each day loving and serving God and the people around me. Most Memorable Moments: Theatre, Improv Class and The Crucible this fall. Plans for Next Year: My plans for the next couple years will be to attend Bellingham Technical Institute for refrigeration. I am the type of person that likes to work with my hands which is why I chose this field. One other great aspect of it is that there are a lot of job opportunities for refrigeration. Dreams for the Future: My hope for the future is that I will have enough experience to open up my own business in California or somewhere nice and hot. Most Memorable Moments: High school has been a great adventure for me. A time where some of my fondest memories have come into play. Spending so much time with my close friends and meeting new people. I will never forget all the crazy times spent in the man cave.

Plans for Next Year: My plans for next year are very simple. I intend to move to Bellingham, where I will be attending Whatcom Community College. No, my plans for next year are not very large, but it’s the simple things in life I tend to enjoy. Dreams for the Future: I aspire to one day be a history teacher. Granted there are many more well paying jobs, and ones that have a slighter workload, but for as long as I can remember I have excelled at and loved to learn history. I hope to impart my love of history to the younger generations by teaching them about their past. Most Memorable Moments: My most memorable moments of high school are from traveling with the sports team, and always having some fun; hanging out with all my good friends in and out of school.

Plans for Next Year: I'm planning on going to Skagit here on the island for a year to take all the required classes like calculus and whatever else is needed for an Associate's Degree from Bellingham Tech in Information Technology. Dreams for the Future: My dream future mainly consists of finding an IT job working for a large company and just doing what I'm good at and getting a steady paycheck. One fantasy about the house I want to live in is to buy an old military fallout shelter and basically turn it into a huge underground house. Most Memorable Moments: One of my most memorable moments was going on the band trip to Hawaii. We spent a week down there and went to two of the islands. Working on the ROV and seeing my hard work move around in the water. And of course dating my girlfriend, Shelby, for almost seven months now. Bro-hoof to everyone.

Plans for Next Year: I will be going to Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. I plan to major in Biology while playing on the varsity baseball team. Dreams for the Future: After my four years at Whitman College, I hope to get into medical school in order to become an orthopedic surgeon. Most Memorable Moments: Four years of baseball. Meeting the Lambright's on the mound. Giving signs behind the plate. Warm-up circles in right field. Orca Bowl and going to Nationals three years in a row. Mr. Vermeire’s prep talks. Biking through the swamp with the Lambright’s. Waking up too early to go hunting. Riding horses and gaming at fair for 15 straight years in a row. Bonfires on Friday night. Poker nights and losing your college money to your guidance counselor. Great friends and parents to make it even that much better.

Plans for Next Year: Attend Washington State University. Dreams for the Future: I hope to earn a degree in Business and one day own my own! Most Memorable Moments: Every memory is surrounded by my friends. The memories are only as good as the friends you share them with. There are two friends in particular I’ve shared the most memories with, Wyatt Phillips & Lizzy Starr. I’ll never forget actually wanting to go to school every morning, just to sit by Lizzy in first period. Without her, high school wouldn’t have been the same. Wyatt taught me everything! He’s the brother I never had.

Plans for Next Year: I plan to go Mexico and then return to the States to work and earn enough to go to college. Dreams for the Future: I hope to study medicine to become a doctor one day. Most Memorable Moments: What I remember about being in high school is when my family and I went on a trip to California to meet my aunt and cousins. We hadn’t met before that. It was one of the best Christmas’ I ever had! These four years have been amazing!

Dreams for the Future: I hope to transfer to a four year Christian University after gaining my Associate's in order to minor in Youth Ministries and major in English which I will then become accredited in so I can teach English in high school. Eventually my goal is to come back to the island and be able to use my skills to aid the community. Most Memorable Moments: Last summer I was blessed with the opportunity to travel to Haiti with Teen Missions International through the financial aid of many in the community. It was the most life changing experience of my life and what I will look back on with most fondness when I remember my high school years. I would like to thank those who supported me in this and all of my endeavors over the last four years.

In the end own my own boat in Bristol Bay and be happy. Dreams for the Future: I plan to transfer to a university to further my education and become a Nurse Practitioner. Plans for Next Year: I’ll be heading down to Pasadena, California in August with my girlfriend and my friend Kyle Steneide. I will be attending the Art Center College of Design, majoring in Fine Arts. I will continue to pursue my dream of becoming a skateboarder while I’m down in Pasadena. Dreams for the Future: I hope to eventually become a professional skateboarder and design skate board graphics as well. If I could ever make a living with skateboarding or art it would be a dream come true. Most Memorable Moments: Seattle trips, long drives to California, endless days at the skate park, art with Mr. Anderson, swimming and floating around during the summer, all of Ian’s houses, the Duck Soup, having fun with all the friends and the girlfriend.

Some especially unforgettable ones were class field trips around Washington in elementary school and a truly incredible opportunity to visit Japan on a school trip. But the best thing by far has been to watch childhood friends that I've known since kindergarten grow up into the amazing, (mostly) mature people that they are now.

Plans for Next Year: I'll be attending Barnard College in NYC Dreams for the Future: I hope to enjoy life to the fullest traveling whenever possible and laughing often. In whatever career path I choose I hope to incorporate languages and service work to improves the lives of others. Most Memorable Moments: I’ll never forget sailing in Fish Bay and swinging outside in the sunshine, Caveman TV, Ceaflowor, basketball seasons, potlucks, circle time, and all the years of Community Shakespeare Company plays and times backstage. Also, going to Nicaragua and watching the sunrise, then full moon rise at El Por Venir, talking with Chico, story time with Neville and seeing Coyotepe Prison. Je n’oublierai jamais mes amis en France non plus. Also, I’ll never forget the beautiful place I was raised and all the amazing people a part of our community.

Plans for Next Year: I plan to travel in Europe for four months, and then do NOLS for a semester in the Rockies. After my gap year I will be attending St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. Dreams for the Future: I hope to find multiple careers about which I am passionate, and pursue them. I want to travel and explore as many parts of the world as I can and most importantly I want to always take the time to appreciate the world around me. Most Memorable Moments: Every minute spent outside on Lopez with friends and family, all the sunsets and sunrises that I have watched, the amazing community events, beautiful times at Bumbershoot ‘09-’12 with the Lopez crew, Sasquatchin’ it ’12-’13, adventures in Seattle, Nicaragua ’10, Mexico with the fam bam. Plans for Next Year: This fall I will attend Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Dreams for the Future: I plan on majoring in public health, and going to medical school. Tulane’s public health program has international connections all over the world, which I intend to take full advantage of as a student there; in particular, I would like to participate in a program for a rural village in the mountains of Chile. In addition to a successful career in the medical field, I would like to have a big, crazy family someday. Most Memorable Moments: Eighth grade trip, eighth grade sleepovers, volleyball van parties, baller status basketball team, midnight madness, mental toughness, cheerleading dance remixes, Japan trip, Northbend, 69-flight stair climb in Seattle, camping trips, football games, Watershed, AP Calculus, Spokane Arena,Yakima, Diapers and Jim, Triple T-K-A, Get Outta Your Mind, hang loose, stay tough.

Plans for Next Year: I will move to Bellingham in the fall and begin a two year apprenticeship with a yoga instructor and get certified to be a yoga instructor. I would like to do some traveling in the near future as well. Dreams for the Future: Whatever I'll be doing, I’ll be happy. Plans for Next Year: I’ll continue to prepare for my enrollment this fall at The Evergreen State College. Earning an AA in Nutritional Counseling and Culinary Arts. After I will be able to hit the ground running, offering nutritional advice (counseling) and seminars after just two years of schooling. Dreams for the Future: I hope to start some kind of cooperative health center, wherein people will come to learn, heal, and ultimately change their lives. The more love and vitality I can bring to people lives, the more successful I feel I will become. Most Memorable Moments: Bro-time adventures, Romps! Making MUSIC day or night, new and exciting things our crew has discovered, trips to Hawaii, Hysterical mornings spent in Arlen, Nate and my culinary class, Seattle music festivals, Pond pardy’s, Going to Grant's, Wrestling matches on Sol’s trampoline, Contemplating life and really finding myself at The Peak. Dreams for the Future: I’m hoping to go into pediatrics, after medical school I’m hoping to practice in a small community, maybe Lynden or the San Juans. Most Memorable Moments: For the past two years I’ve been doing running start and have achieved an AA degree as of winter quarter. I’ve made a lot of amazing memories in the past two years, ranging from experiences at state fair showing my 4-H animals to movie days with my friends. Fishing trips to Canada with dad have been something to look forward to after every spring quarter. I’ve had amazing experiences through 4-H, this is my thirteenth year in 4-H and I’m sad that this is my last year as a 4-H member.
