STATE CHAMPS! The Spartans were crowned state champions in girls lacrosse after a pressurepacked 13-11 win against Lake Sammamish on Saturday. The state title is the team’s fourth back-to-back title. The Bainbridge program is now the all-time leader in girls lacrosse with nine state titles. Saturday’s win broke a tie with Lakeside, a team that had won the crown eight times. “I’m so proud of them. They earned it today, they really did,” said Spartan coach Tami Tommila.
