A Writers Room chapbook with a special focus on memoir, family history, and oral history. The work collected here was produced by participants in two learning and interview sessions plus two further editing tutorials given by experts on compiling and writing engaging narratives, Robert Watts and Kelly McQuain. Guided by these experts, writers interviewed each other and at least one other person (family, neighbors, church family members, community leaders). Tyler Shine, Constance E. Clayton Fellow at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, assisted in garnering and curating photographs for book during interview sessions.
