A collection of creative work from Writers Room's seven-week 2016 NEA Big Read Festival on Zora Neale Hurston's life and work—particularly her novel, Their Eyes Were Watching God. Throughout the festival we focused on the challenge of seeing what our diverse audiences could create in response to her work and inspired by her example.
