WHAT’S NEW

A selection of new projects and concepts from the leading international shipyards and design studios that will grace the waves

in the near future

Currently under construction at Turquoise Yachts, the 81-metre superyacht Rafale marks a confident stride into a new era of yacht design. With exterior and interior styling by H2 Yacht Design, the project fuses a futuristic vision with timeless elegance, defined by fluid lines and a bold sculptural identity. Rafale’s most striking feature is her dramatic, cascading sheer line, which sweeps seamlessly from bow to stern, visually extending her five-deck profile. Each deck is organically contoured and wrapped in continuous glazing, reinforcing the yacht’s sleek silhouette while offering uninterrupted panoramic views throughout. The result is a dynamic yet refined exterior that celebrates movement, light, and openness. Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, Rafale is being constructed to Lloyd’s Register classification and will sail under the Cayman Islands flag. Her hybrid propulsion combines twin MTU 12V4000 M65L engines with battery capacity of up to 1,920 kWh, enabling flexible cruising modes, greater efficiency, and reduced emissions. Outdoor living sits at the heart of the design. The yacht features a generous water-level beach club with threesided access, three swimming pools across the main, owner, and sun decks, and a harmonious mix of shaded and openair spaces dedicated to dining, entertaining, and relaxation. Inside, the design mirrors the same philosophy that balances versatility and calm. The owner’s suite, complete with private office, separate dressing rooms and bathrooms, and direct access to a forward terrace with private pool, sets the tone for a contemporary onboard experience. Six additional guest cabins and multiple lounges are spread across the main, owner, and bridge decks, all connected by a sculptural spiral staircase at the yacht’s core. turquoiseyachts.com
