The collections by the new brand Eleit.it stem from a clear vision: to transform the table into a space for storytelling, a setting where design allows exceptional products to find their ideal expression by Marta Bernasconi - ph. courtesy by Eleit.it

t has been more than fifteen years since the Mediterranean Diet was added to UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List, yet to this day the world of design continues to explore how a heritage that extends far beyond food, rooted in tradition, conviviality and deep ties to the land, can be translated into contemporary objects and rituals.
With a name inspired by the phonetics of the English word “elate” and complemented by “.it” to express the union and synthesis of Made in Italy talent, the new brand Eleit.it was created with the core mission of celebrating the excellence of Italy’s regions through innovative objects that reinterpret everyday culinary rituals.
Within the vision of the brand’s founders, entrepreneur Titti Gallucci and architect Raffaella Del Giudice, the art of the table is one of the richest areas for design exploration, where aesthetics and function meet in the everyday act of serving and sharing. At the heart of this vision lies the value of Italian craftsmanship, with its wealth of traditional knowledge and skills passed down through generations. A unique heritage

that must be preserved to safeguard cultural traditions, but also to inspire its future potential: the hands of artisans draw on time-honoured expertise while giving life to projects that reflect contemporary sensibilities.
Eleit.it’s objects are linked to distinctive experiences of Italian gastronomic culture, a fact that becomes unmistakable in several pieces. Starting with Famiglia Oliva, a collection of tools designed to savour high-quality extra virgin olive oil: a spoon for measuring and serving, a bread plate and a container designed for appreciating its aroma. The Midnight line is dedicated to pasta, with plates that stand out for their concave recess where sauces can pool, making it easier to coat the pasta. Pixis, an object designed to serve another Italian delicacy, buffalo mozzarella, was inspired by the box of the same name used in ancient Greece to store perfumes or jewellery; its lid can be turned upside down, transforming it into an ideal dish for presenting and enjoying food at the table.
The catalogue also features other items designed for Italian food specialties. Each is an example of how the brand aims to explore the table space as an environment for experimentation, paying tribute to the Italian gastronomic traditions admired worldwide. eleit.it
