Furnishing and design trends showcased at the most important international trade fairs are evidence of an increasing emphasis on the balance between aesthetics and physical and mental well-being
Well-being now takes a leading role in the furnishings world, too. A mix of light, solid materials like glass, metal, mirrors and marble dominate the new products offer, and are designed to stimulate the senses, evoking a dreamlike atmosphere. Marine and residential spaces have become more intimate and synergic. Companies are paying a great deal of attention to on-board life, with yachts no longer a sideshow but a new horizon rich in inspiration and wider perspectives. Plus a renewed focus on the great names of the past - looking back to move forward. Not a nostalgia effect, it’s a desire to draw on the creativity of designers of the past and celebrate the heritage of a know-how that has traced the history of the golden years of design throughout the world, now given a modern interpretation and supported by the most advanced technology.
