Dreams of Water Fabio Signorelli, founder of Edilfare Piscine, has transformed his passion into a market-leading company, creating custom-made projects that combine aesthetics, technology and harmony with the environment. or Fabio Signorelli swimming pools are not just a job, they are a vocation. After founding Edilfare Piscine in 1997 he transformed his passion into a leading company in the sector, creating custom-made pools that combine
technical expertise, refined aesthetics and perfect harmony with the environment. Brought up in family involved in property con-
struction, he inherited the work culture typical of the Bergamo district but followed his own path, guided by an attraction to beauty and uniqueness. “Working on one of my father’s building sites I realised that swimming pools were my future. I like exclusive objects and when I was young these were rare, so they had a special effect on me”, he says. Then, after a period spent as a professional footballer, he founded Edilfare Piscine and began his new life, driven by a new passion. His talent for imagining unique swimming pools soon began to develop. His creative sensitivity is the real added value in the service he offers. “Every pool should communicate an emotion. When I meet a client, first I look at

the space and listen to the client’s requirements. Almost immediately I visualise the ideal solution, and then I sketch it”. And, with the help of his team, this sketch eventually becomes the final design. The process is almost artistic, making his approach unique. It has led to the creation of his role as Pool Consultant, a position known abroad but less familiar in Italy, a person who provides a specialist bespoke consultancy service. “Architects can design a house or yacht, but a swimming pool demands a specific field of competence. It’s like the difference between a general doctor and a specialist”. The company, based in Carobbio degli Angeli, near Bergamo, collaborates with leading international suppliers, guaranteeing technical quality and impeccable design. “I’m an aesthete, a prefectionist. I’m never satisfied. I love a challenge, like installling a pool on the fourth floor in Venice. It comes natural to me”. Edilfare Piscine is now one of the most well-structured companies in the sector, with a team of 20 that includes architects and engineers. It offers an all-round service, from consultancy and design to construction, restructuring and maintenance. “I put myself into my work”, says Signorelli with passion. He has also deployed his talents in the yacht-building industry, designing pools for prestige yachts by Tankoa, compact versions of the luxurious pools created for the residential and tourist sector, the company’s core business. “I’m a keen observer, I respect nature, animals and people.
