Following the success of the DOM133, having reached 12 units, and that of the more recent DOM115, Baglietto has now introduced the DOM155, a sub-500 GT displacement motor yacht that further develops the brand’s distinctive “Roman domus” concept at sea. Warm, elegant and welcoming, the new model builds on the range’s defining qualities while offering expanded volumes and improved liveability.
Penned by designer Stefano Vafiadis, the exterior lines remain faithful to the line’s family feeling, yet appear sleeker and more harmonious thanks to the yacht’s larger dimensions. The design is clean and sculptural, combining balanced proportions with a dynamic, almost automotive-inspired character. The aluminium structure, already employed on the DOM133, allows for a high degree of customisation while also enhancing performance and ensuring a shallow draught, a feature particularly appreciated in key markets such as the United States.
At the heart of the project lies the stern area, conceived as a private retreat for relaxation and wellness. A panoramic infinity pool takes centre stage, while the adjacent beach club can be configured as a spa and gym overlooking the sea or as an additional garage. Interiors offer generous volumes, floor-to-ceiling glazing and a seamless dialogue between indoor and outdoor environments.
Accommodation includes a full-beam owner’s suite, four guest cabins and wellappointed crew quarters. Expansive social areas culminate in a 130-square-metre sundeck with a lounge, bar and infinity pool. Powered by twin CAT C32 engines, the DOM155 will reach a top speed of 16 knots, with the first unit expected in 2029. www.baglietto.com
