This season, OT shines a spotlight on ‘Tessere’, a contemporary yet classic design with a refined structure and understated texture, demonstrating the enduring artistry at the heart of the Treutlein name. The Tessere rug exemplifies the Treutlein philosophy: drawing from heritage craftsmanship while reimagining it through modern materiality and texture. Hand tufted in fine bamboo fibres, the design features a distinctive basket weave geometry expressed through a meticulous interplay of two pile heights: a luxurious 13 mm cut pile and a complementary 9 mm loop. The result is a surface rich in depth and movement, subtly shifting with the light to create a tactile elegance that invites both visual and sensory engagement.
