VITTORIA YACHTS_V ELOCE 32 RPH
T
he Veneto yard marked the start of the build of this Veloce 32 RPH with a keel-laying ceremony at its headquarters. Designed entirely by Hydro Tec, this on spec beauty nimbly encapsulates the Italian skill and craftsmanship that only a yard with huge experience can such a hugely experienced yard can offer. “For Veloce’s construction our yard drew on a century’s experience in shipbuilding and its own innovation-centred approach. – commented Paolo Duò who is both President of Cantiere Navale Vittoria and Vittoria Yachts, and the scion of the family that has owned the yard since 1927. The Veloce 32 RHP has all the signature safety, efficiency and innovation of the Fast Patrol Vessels that Vittoria supplies to leading navies worldwide. The 32m tri-deck has a beam of 7.2m, captivatingly individual lines, a plumb bow and raised gunwale, courtesy of Hydro Tec. A semi-displacement hull and twin 1,900 hp Mans yield a top speed of 20 knots. “Our goal” – adds Michele Zorzenon, Managing Director of Vittoria Yachts - “is to meet the needs of owners who want a real vessel built from metal without having to compromise on the cruising speeds typically offered by GRP craft”.
