There’s always a buzz of excitement around the place at Besenzoni as the company readies itself yet again to take on new challenges and develop the right solutions for the right yacht. This “can-do” attitude enables it to maintain its position as a benchmark for the sector, with its on-board accessories and components that can be customised to suit every yacht

he EVO V8 has become a permanent showroom for Besenzoni. Together with the Blu Emme Yachts yard and designer Valerio Rivellini, Besenzoni has developed, customised and
researched a series of accessories and components on board the yacht, reflecting the requirements of the owner and his crew. In the words of Giorgio Besenzoni, president of Besenzoni spa, “Starting from an existing Besenzoni product, the shipyard and designer managed to create new solutions and even customize some of the products, adapting them to the demands of the yacht’s particular design”.

The Evo V8 is a unique 24-metre yacht with a refined design and cutting-edge concept. It’s like a Russian doll hiding one surprise inside the other, and Besenzoni plays an important role in many of these surprises. We’ll start with most unusual element, the rooftop. The designer conceived it as a surprise effect, very low, concealed from view from the side and integrated into the superstructure. Inevitably there could be no fixed stairway to provide access as this would betray its presence, so the choice was made to instal a retractable hydraulic
Besenzoni has equipped the Evo V8 with a wide array of customised
staircase developed by Besenzoni on the basis of its multifunctional SP
solutions, starting with the stairs linking the cockpit and roof top (below)
602 stairs. The same model was also the starting point for customising
and for swimmers boarding the yacht (top). The tender hoist is concealed
the swim stairs: “The installation of the retractable hydraulic ladder
beneath the cockpit floor (above) leaving the space free for guests to

Another key element by Besenzoni is located on the beach area, a huge space designed to be entirely available for the use of guests, so all the technical elements are hidden out of sight, starting with the Besenzoni G 444 hydraulic tender hoist, which retracts into a space under the floor. Further forward the sunshade canopy from Besenzoni’s BestShade division provides rapid shelter from the heat. Finally, in the scenic main deck lounge the partially-opening high-tech windows made by Besenzoni required careful design and extremely precise construction, “As we had to integrate the existing system with the special film technology containing LCD crystals, which makes it possible to make the glass opaque for greater privacy and transform it into a projector screen in 4K”. The encounter with the Blu Emme Yachts yard has enabled Besenzoni to exploit its experience, know-how and vision to the full, constantly aiming to develop proposals with tailormade aesthetics and functionality. www.besenzoni.it
