Our company, Yaqui Cigar, was founded in March 2015, starting as a project focused solely on producing cigars with Negro San Andrés tobacco in Mexico City. After securing a modest investment and traveling extensively, we ventured to the heart of tobacco cultivation in the State of Veracruz, near the Gulf of Mexico's coast, in the San Andrés Valley. Here, we embraced the deep-rooted family tradition of growing, curing, and handcrafting 100% Mexican cigars. This is where "Yaqui Cigar" was born, with the goal of promoting Mexican tobacco and artisanal craftsmanship. As the saying goes, "What is made in Mexico is well made.
