14 first year students selected GRO and will be sophomores in Fall 2026
We interviewed 4 candidates for the AS Natural Gas & Oil Assistant Professor position in March 2026
2 on-campus interviews will occur in April 2026
The GRO Advisory Board has members from Range Resources, EQT, Geopetro, Marcellus Shale Coalition, NextEra Energy, Deloitte, Oriden and Marathon
Our most pressing need is providing a path forward for our GRO students to succeed, therefore we hope to set up as many as 14 internship opportunities for GRO students in Summer 2027
Summer 2027 internships/coops are being coordinated with Chris Frankovic and Tyler Kimmel of the Coop/Internship office with Range Resources, EQT, Geopetro, Marathon, Deloitte, Oriden, NextEra Energy with pending internship discussions with other companies
