In 2007, Pip Studio was founded in Amsterdam by Catharina van der Endt who decided it was time to colour outside the lines. Today, Pip Studio has grown up, but kept her playful character. Pip Studio is a reflection of Catharina’s positive personality and perspective on life. She is convinced that each moment of each day beholds the opportunity to share and celebrate life with the people we care for.

QUALITIES BAGS

VEGAN MATERIALS

As Pip cares about the environment as well as the well-being of animals, all bags are vegan (friendly). The bags have a leather look, but are made out of vegan leather. This can be made up of a number of materials or a mix of materials.

P U

We have used the known mixture of PVC with PU with a litchi graining. But we have also added a new high quality PU with a more soft and supple handfeel, also with a special smooth graining. This PU leather is made by compressing multiple layers of base material (known as polyurethane) and then coated in a water-resistant outer layer. This results in a material that is sturdy and durable, yet very smooth to the touch, with a better wear-resistance.

S UEDE

Vegan Suede, also a kind of PU, based on the same materials but with a different finish on the surface. With its rough yet soft surface it’s durable and water resistant. This gives it an elegant rough look.

S ATIN

For the more Satin look & feel all materials are a mixture of polyester and PVC, with PU for the finishing details. With its smooth surface also easy to clean.

V ELVET

The polyester velvet fabric consists of polyester fibers. An artificial fabric, but very soft and pleasant to the touch. It’s durable and flexible, therefore perfect for cosmetic bags or tote bags.

C ANVAS

This new Polyester Canvas is a very strong and durable fabric, so your bag will last a long time. It is a plain weave fabric with a nice consistent texture for a great handfeel. The canvas will not fade easily due to the colour fastness. The water resistant coating on the backside of the fabric will keep your belongings dry in light rain.

W ASH CARE

We encourage a daily use of your beautiful Pip bag, but please take good care of your new bags. No machine wash, no bleach or tumble dry and do not iron the items. But wipe clean only with a damp cloth and don’t use any abrasive detergents. Most Fashion & Travel Bags are water repellent on the outside. And for most cosmetic bags both outside and inside are water repellent so it’s easy to clean.
