Introduction to Responsive Classroom • One-Day Course This past February, I took a one-day Introduction to Responsive Classroom course. The engaging and interactive class was exciting and fun! Teachers and educators from all over the United States met together. This opportunity for professional development gave me fresh ideas on how to engage my 1st-grade language arts students in learning! It gave strategies regarding classroom management to ensure that all students stay focused and ready to learn. I appreciate the generosity of our Pinewood parent community in contributing to fundraising events like this one to provide opportunities for faculty and staff to continue to grow and ever improve our teaching and best practices in our classrooms!
