Pine Street Presbyterian Church in the City of Harrisburg Pine Street is a Welcoming Church, Glorifying God through Worship, Fellowship and Service in the World. March 22, 2026
Fifth Sunday in Lent
PRAYER OF PREPARATION Living God, we come to you today in humility and need. We pray for life for our wounded souls, for our ailing communities, for our troubled nation, and for our hurting world. Call us out of discouragement and despair to rise up in courage and love. Let your light shine upon our faces, so that, forgiven and renewed, we may live again as your people, holy and whole, singing praises and serving with joy through the grace of Jesus Christ. Amen.

INTROIT Why Has God Forsaken Me?
Bill Wallace "Why has God forsaken me?" cried our Savior from the cross as he shared the loneliness of our deepest grief and loss. At the tomb of Lazarus, Jesus wept with open grief: grant us, Lord, the tears which heal all our pain and unbelief.
