Gracious God, you know what kind of people we are. We judge others harshly and fail to see our own sin. We look at neighbors with suspicion and fear, and we forget to show hospitality to strangers. We treasure things that are worthless and squander your precious gifts. We withhold the grace and love that you give us so freely. Forgive us, pour out your grace on us and save us from our sin.

COVID-19 UPDATE

In the past few weeks, Central Pennsylvania counties have reached a high positivity rate of COVID 19 transmission. This week, Session responded to this news by reviewing and supporting the CDC and Carlisle Presbytery recommendations that all individuals, no matter their vaccination status, wear masks in public indoor settings where there is a substantial or high transmission rate. Session asks worshipers to comply with these guidelines in consideration of the well-being of children, the immunocompromised, and others who are not eligible to receive the vaccine. Session will continue to monitor regional data to make decisions on behalf of the health and safety of our Pine Street community.
