COVID-19 UPDATE
As you are probably aware, there has been another increase in COVID cases in the Central Pennsylvania region, particularly due to the highly contagious Delta variant. Recently, Dauphin County and Cumberland County reached a moderate positivity rate. The CDC has once again updated its COVID-19 guidelines, urging those who live in counties with substantial or high levels of community transmission to wear masks in indoor spaces, no matter their vaccination status. Communications from the Carlisle Presbytery also remind us that we must consider the well-being of children, the immunocompromised, and any others who are not eligible to receive the vaccine. While there has been no decision to change health or safety guidelines at Pine Street, worshipers are encouraged to comply with the CDC recommendations and feel comfortable wearing masks during worship.
