† PRAYER OF CONFESSION The Rev. Heather M. Sigler Gracious and Loving God, we come into your presence asking for your forgiveness. Forgive us for aspirations that never get translated into action and for promises that we have not kept. Forgive us for having good intentions that were not fulfilled and for the good deeds that we never got around to doing. Grant us a new vision and help us to move from intention to action. O God beyond all praising, we worship you today and sing the love amazing that songs cannot repay; for we can only wonder at every gift you send, at blessings without number and mercies without end; we lift our hearts before you and wait upon your word, we honor and adore you, our great and mighty Lord. The Apostles’ Creed I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

Pine Street Quartet

The Rev. Charles W Best (Charlie) and his wife, Louise, have been married for 47 years. They reside, since October 2017, in Lititz, PA. They have a daughter, son, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren. Charlie is a graduate of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, one year of which was spent studying at Edinburgh University, New College, Scotland. Charlie served four years in New Castle, PA at First Presbyterian and then at Monaghan Presbyterian in Dillsburg, PA, for 35 years, retiring in June 2011. For five years ending in 2017, he was Temporary Stated Supply Pastor for Great Conewago church outside Gettysburg. Charlie is a proud former Davis & Elkins College soccer player and choir member. He now can be found singing tenor in the Lititz Moravian church choir and trimming the grass/weeds around their cemetery tombstones. He loves biking, hiking treks, and puttering around at a cottage in Espyville, PA.
