Loving God, Alpha and Omega, you are both beginning and end. Our endings and our beginnings are rooted in your love. Whether near or far, we are held close by your love, and kept safe from any lasting loss. Forgive us, O God, for work begun but not completed, for expectations not met, for wounds not healed, for gifts not shared, for promises not kept. Let our time together as pastor and people end with your blessing. Touch all memories with your grace and peace. Help us to live with courage and gladness in the future you present us. WEDNESDAY NIGHT FORUM, JUNE 30, 6:30 P.M.
Educating God's People Core Team continues this week at Morris Medley, the home of former members Jack and Mildred Morris and now the summer retreat of their daughter, Ann Markley. This property is near the intersection of Route 39 and Route 22 in West Hanover Township. You may learn more about it at Morrismedley.com. Plan to attend, fellowship with other members, experience the beautiful labyrinth, stroll the property, enjoy several gardens including a butterfly garden, and share insights around some questions presented in our recent Forum with Cheryl Galan, Interim Executive Presbyter. You should bring a lawn chair and perhaps a cool drink and bug spray. The address is 7917 Hanover Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112. This is a casual event for all ages. This will take about an hour, but you are free to linger if the weather is good. The Team hopes to see you there! There are no restrooms at Morris Medley, but some nearby.
