† PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Before we were formed in the womb, O God, you knew us and you loved us. Before we utter a prayer, O God, you hear us and you love us. You call us to reflect your love, to be love for one another. Too often, we are clanging cymbals, aiming for volume rather than love. Too often, we are greedy beings, searching for success rather than love. Too often, we are disappointed disciples, longing for fulfilled expectations rather than love. Forgive us, God of mercy, and love us into wholeness.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen.

Dr. Eric Fung will be in concert on Saturday, February 5 at 7:00 pm (This replaces the Svyati Duo, who, because of Covid, can't get a Visa to perform in the US.) Dr. Eric Fung is a Bach Prize Winner from the Johann Sebastian Bach Competition in Leipzig, Germany. The New York Times praised his pianism for being "mature, refined, and elegant." A native of Hong Kong, Dr. Fung holds degrees in piano performance from the Eastman School of Music and The Juilliard School.
