4THOFJULY
Friday, July 3rd 6:00 pm
Come decorate our float at the school.
This is a potluck so bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share.
We will provide PINEScones (aka snowcones) and much needed water. We wil be grilling some hotdogs too!

We are FAMOUS for handing out 100's of freeze pops.

Please start buying these now and start freezing them.
Bring them to the parade if you are going to ride with us or send them to school so we can bring them along.
Pro Tip: Take them out of the net bag and freeze them flat on the freezer shelf. Freezing them in the bag leaves the middle ones "raw".

Saturday, July 4th 10 am
ome ride in the parade with us!
We park our float as close to Creekwood Middle School as possible. We will send a push notification in the App as to our exact location once we have our spot.
Park your car wherever you can and then just find us.
You can ride the entire parade route or hop on/off along the way.
Wear your Pines swag or red, white and blue. All are welcome.
Walk with your dog, bring your wagon, ride your bike alongside.
Don't forget your freeze pops!

This painting is of the Ton- 618 black hole. I used many different techniques to make it. It is easily the best piece of art I have ever made Just in case you could not read this. Worth it!

Kitchen Connections Avocado Dip
Have fun with your garnish!
Top with an extra sprinkle of chopped cilantro, a pinch of red pepper flakes, or a tiny drizzle of olive oil.

Ingredients Instructions
2 ripe avocados, pitted and peeled
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
The juice of 1 lime
1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
2 scallions- chopped Enjoy!
Shelf life Up to 3 days store when in the fridge.

Add the avocados, Greek yogurt, lime juice, cilantro, and salt into a food processor or a high-speed blender. Blend until velvety smooth. Pulse the mixture for 1 to 2 minutes. Stop once or twice to scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula to ensure everything incorporates evenly.
Note: If you prefer a rustic, chunky texture instead, mash the ingredients together in a medium bowl using a sturdy fork or a potato masher. Adjust the seasoning- Taste the dip directly from the blender. Add a pinch more salt or an extra squeeze of lime juice if you prefer a tangier finish. Garnish and serve
Serve immediately alongside tortilla chips, warm pita wedges, or crisp cucumber and carrot sticks.
