Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. concluded a fourday official visit to Canada from July 1 to 4, reinforcing the growing partnership between the Philippines and Canada through high-level meetings with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and the signing of several landmark agreements. The visit highlighted the strong friendship between the two countries, which have enjoyed diplomatic relations since 1949, while opening new opportunities in trade, labor, investment, tourism, culture, energy, and security.
