Philippines dominates 2024 World Travel Awards The Philippines has once again been crowned the World’s Leading Dive Destination at the 2024 World Travel Awards (WTA). This marks the sixth consecutive year the country has earned this distinction, underscoring its global reputation as a haven for diving enthusiasts. The announcement was made during the WTA Grand Final Gala Ceremony held on November 24, 2024, at the Savoy Palace in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.
