In This Issue Hands & (Broken) Hearts Fair Postponed Open Enrollment Scavenger Hut Cyber Security Word Scramble

Street Fair Rescheduled Due to Weather In case you missed Tuesday’s announcement, CFSD Chairperson Jesus Sapien announced, due to impending weather, this year’s CSFD Hands & Hearts Street Fair will not take place on Thursday, Oct. 22. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety. His full message can also be found in the PHXConnect HUB.

Make-up Date Scheduled for Oct. 28 The news of the cancellation was certainly disappointing to all those looking to attend the event, as well as the volunteers who spent a lot of time planning the activities for the Fair. While the full Hands & Hearts Street Fair will not happen as planned, the CSFD team will hold a “mini fair” for all employees to attend.

EVENT DETAILS: Departments with food will be set up outside the employee entrance and all others with goods, drawings and other items for sale will be in the assembly rooms. Employees who do not work in the downtown area can use their employee badge to receive validated parking in the 305 parking garage.

Security enhancements are coming soon to eCHRIS The City of Phoenix will enable Multifactor Authentication (MFA) on eCHRIS in mid-November to improve security. MFA significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access and will be required for all employees when accessing eCHRIS. It will work the same way as when you currently use MFA before accessing other City resources. Instructions will be provided before the change is enabled.
