Fewer Emails and More Streamlined Updates
We’re reducing the volume of Citywide emails to make key information more digestible and easier to follow. Instead of several messages throughout the week, you’ll now receive one concise Wednesday update delivering important news and linking to your weekly PHX Connect employee newsletter.
This change helps ensure you never miss the essentials while keeping your inbox manageable Urgent or time sensitive announcements will still be sent as needed to keep employees informed in real time
Digital Display Network Expanding
Across the City in high-traffic areas, you have likely seen large digital displays with important and timely updates and announcements for City employees These locations include the employee entrance of Phoenix City Hall, inside the City Hall elevators, the lobbies of many City departments and the Calvin C Goode building entrance
These displays are part of the PHXConnect system, and the network is continuing to expand. As more locations come online, the digital displays will keep connecting you to updates, resources, and opportunities across the City.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and the City’s Let’s Talk Teal campaign encourages you raise awareness and support survivors. The campaign encourages having difficult conversations that are essential to help prevent and end sexual violence.

Parking Garage Update
Work continues to improve safety in the employee parking garage
The traffic safety engineers recommended adding speed bumps to the area where people walk from the stairwell/elevators into the garage. The first set of speed bumps were installed in the east area of the Adams Street garage.
Additional work will be done over the next two weeks to complete the project.
Fair Housing Month Lunch and Learn
The Equal Opportunity Department is working with the Southwest Fair Housing Council to bring you this interactive, informative presentation, which will be led by a seasoned fair housing professional. Those attending will learn how to fight housing discrimination in Phoenix and where to turn should it happen to you, a friend, or a loved one.
April is Fair Housing Month and all City employees are invited to attend an upcoming virtual “Lunch and Learn” event to learn about the different forms of housing discrimination.
