STUDENTTESTIMONIAL

Three days full of great locations, from early morning to twilight. Tony plans each stop with the light in mind and finds a variety of places that work for all kinds of photographers

It was an awesome LA adventure with great colleagues and a terrific leader and teacher.

Attending Tony’s photography workshop was honestly a turning point for me as a photographer.

I arrived feeling stuck and unsure of my creative direction. I understood my camera settings well enough, but my images felt flat. Technically fine, but missing emotion and intention. From the first session, Tony shifted the way I see photography. Instead of focusing only on gear and settings, he talked about storytelling, light, and connection. He has a way of explaining things that suddenly makes them click.

What stood out most was how hands-on he is. He works right alongside everyone, watching, offering feedback, and gently pushing you outside your comfort zone. His critiques are honest but encouraging. He doesn’t just say something isn’t working He explains why and helps you see how to improve it Within a few days I could see a real difference in my compositions and confidence

Tony also creates a really supportive environment. No question feels silly and everyone feels included, no matter their experience level. I left inspired and energized, with a portfolio I am proud of and a much clearer sense of my own voice as a photographer.

I was definitely off my creative game before this workshop, but it quickly pulled me back in.

Great architecture, beautiful art, warm weather, and Tony constantly encouraging us to push ourselves creatively. It was an amazing and very productive few days.

After a long hiatus from photography, I returned to PB and was quickly reinvigorated by this new three day workshop format.

There were set timeframes for the shoots, but we still had the freedom to stay longer or wander a little further if we wanted. There were short critiques in the field to check on progress or talk through problems.

Tony was always nearby with positive comments and suggestions.

Three shoots a day with good breaks in between meant there was time to eat, relax, upload photos, and reflect a bit on the work. I loved it and highly recommend this new format.

The LA workshop was just three days, but it was a great experience. Tony finds inspiring and sometimes challenging locations that really push you creatively

The shorter format required more focus and energy, but the reward was getting into a strong creative flow and feeling very present during the shoots.

Tony’s one-on-one reviews in the field helped identify themes in my work He encouraged me to lean into the personal style I have been developing, which increased both my confidence and excitement about my photography.

I have learned so much working on my photography with Tony over the last few years and have had a lot of fun along the way.

I have attended several PB workshops and come away from each one with new ideas, insights, and techniques.

Tony prepares the field shoots with a lot of care, so there is never a dull moment. I truly treasure my time with the PB team.
